After doing some serious research, I found it worth driving from Lancaster to try this place. It was so worth it. I got the sesame chicken as well as the pork fried rice and both are awesome!! The spring rolls were really good also. I haven't had truly good vegan Chinese food since Horizons and Kingdom of Vegetarians in Philly. This is right up there with those and I'd recommend the drive from Philly to anyone missing that quality of food. The people were so nice and it was very clean and inviting. Thank you so much. I will be be back.

So I wanted to see if a Chinese restaurant with 4.9 average reviews lived up to that rating? Short answer: if you're there for the food, price and service answer = absolutely! Pros: family owned place with over the top niceness. Food is amazing. I ordered the pad thai chicken and was one of best dishes ive had in a very long time. Its vegan so not true chicken but honestly tasted as good if not better all for $12 @ dinner. Cons: street parking that can be challenging since its in a high density area. There's maybe 3 or 4 tables in there and they are 2 or 4 person tables so do NOT go there for a great dining experience. The entire dining area is about the size of a parking spot. No knock it's just not that kinda place. Check it out at least once its that good.

We got miso soup, vegetable soup, a smoothie, fresh beet/carrot/ginger juice, mixed vegetables (requested no sauce), and sesame 'chicken'. The service was absolutely amazing, the owners are so sweet. This restaurant is also absolutely spotless and the cleanest I have ever seen a kitchen. You can tell they take pride in what they do and they love their restaurant. The food was very good and I'm so happy to find a restaurant that is all vegan, fresh, and homemade. I recommend anyone come here—even if you're not vegan, give it a try, you'll definitely find something you'll love :)

Chen Vegetarian is hands-down my FAVORITE place to eat! Their vegan Chinese food is so good- honestly even better than the “real thing.” Every dish is full of flavor, super satisfying & you get that classic Chinese takeout experience with zero guilt. The best part is I never feel heavy or gross afterward & I’m not hungry again an hour later. It’s comfort food that actually leaves you feeling good. Highly, highly recommend!
