This place has one saving grace - their sweet & sour chicken. The crispy crunch of their chicken is unlike any other Chinese restaurant I've ever been to! That said, we have explored a few other meals, most recently their chicken and broccoli, and were greeted with the slimiest pale chicken I have ever seen - I put the piece in my mouth and immediate spit it out because I feared it was undercooked and it was obviously covered in a film - disgusting!Their fried dumplings with sugar were AMAZING too, but it's hard to mess up dough and sugar :)

The person who waited on us was not friendly ,At All, by any chance. If you're going to compare it to like, Wong's ,who are so receptive of their customers and friendly. Great Wall you need to do some work. The Ribs on the bone, were okay, nothing to write home about ,the food overall was bland especially the chicken wings. Will I return ? I'm not rushing back.

The best crab rangoon and boneless spare ribs in the area! Staff was very helpful when ordering delivery.
Depending on what you order or when you order, the food is a hit or miss. In the first photo, we have General Tso chicken and pork fried rice (which was ordered on a different day than the other photos). This meal was really good and made well. I was pleased. Now, the other 2 photos are of a meal I ordered on a prior date--Sweet and Sour Chicken with white rice and an egg roll. The chicken and egg roll were visibly over fried. The chicken was hard, dry, and not edible. I didn't even try the egg roll, as it was rock hard. The meal was expensive too, so I was not happy with the service. Overall, I will say that the Great Wall is pricier than other Chinese Restaurants in Berks County. The food is generally good and they deliver to most places. I would not say they're the best around as there are better options with more quality and flavor.

The food is wonderful and they are very fast. They are pretty affordable and the portion sizes are great. Definitely my favorite Chinese place to go to. The inside doesn't have a lot of seating but this place is perfect for doing take out or delivery. As for parking, across the street is just fine.
