Left knew the pizza was amazing and then literally dropped my pizza as I walked outside and then I instantly had a free pizza as I walked back into Michelangelo's great place for pizza management service cleanliness amazing!

This place went down the drain since the new owners. Went in and asked for a menu, the TV menus were all off. There was one crumpled paper menu that was falling apart.
The lady proceeded to make our food with no gloves. She didn't wash her hands even though she had been doing some type of inventory/cleaning when we arrived.
She was on her phone the entire time, repeatedly touching her phone. She came out from the back with sandwich meats draped over her forearm and jewelry.
We just threw the food out. Waste of $26.

Good pizza.
This place started off well but unfortunately the food quality I feel has dropped significantly. Our last visit the pizza was very bland and the wings were soggy. Our wings were soggy in the past but I'm one to always give second chances and unfortunately it was the same outcome.

Was my favorite pizza shop in West Reading into new ownership they spent more time changing the name then they did on ingredients order the chicken parm and will never order from here again the pizza seemed old like they didn't throw it out or they just make pies and keep them for the whole week until they ran out the quality of this place has totally went down

Michelangelo’s Pizzeria, 500 Penn Ave., West Reading, Jan. 10: 10 violations. The Person in Charge did not demonstrate adequate control of food safety in this food facility as evidenced by this non-compliant inspection. Time in lieu of temperature being used as a control for potentially hazardous foods (pizza pies), but the facility does not have written documentation to verify food is discarded within 4 hours. There is still a build-up of food residue and other debris on surfaces throughout the facility (floor under/around equipment in both the front and back areas, including in the walk-in cooler). A utility sink or curbed cleaning facility with a floor drain is not provided in the food facility. The mop sink has been removed from the closet in the restroom. Several floor tiles in the back area are cracked and are no longer easily cleanable. The outer door located in the restroom of the food facility has a gap at the bottom and does not protect against the entry of pests. Paper towel dispenser empty at the handwash sink in the restroom. The handwash sink in the back area still does not have single use towels, continuous towels, or air-drying device.Food facility inspection still indicates evidence of rodent/insect activity in the back area around the dough mixer, under equipment, and along the wall of the walk-in cooler. Rodent droppings were observed in this area.A live cockroach was observed near the walk-in cooler, as well as others stuck to glue boards.Facility has proof that a pest control company did provide service. The frequency of service may need to be increased. Mops are still not being hung to air dry. Observed a mop stored in a bucket of dirty water. A working container of cleaner was stored next to the slicer and an in-use box of plastic wrap on a food preparation table in the back area. Out of compliance.
The spaghetti was over cooked. The sauce didn't have a good taste and the sausage was dry. It crumbled as you ate it.Sorry but coming back for me is not an option.

Love the pizza here but it's really expensive, over $20 for 1 pizza. They made all my pizzas fresh and it's always

Came in because I saw they have specials today on pasta. Asked for crab ravioli which they are no longer serving and haven’t removed from the menu yet. That was fine. So I ordered fettuccine alfredo instead. They were waiting for a deliver to make the sauce so I said I’d wait for my food. When I got home and tried the pasta, it tasted okay at first then had this gnarly after taste. It did not taste good. Had someone else try it and they said the same thing. Used way too much cheese/sauce. They also must have used a weird tasting cheese or something because I’ve never had fettuccine Alfredo that tasted like this. Looks more like soup than pasta. I waited a few hours and reheated it, added seasonings and the aftertaste is still not great. The service I received was fine, but the food is not anything I would try again. Unfortunately, this was the first and last time I’ll probably eat here. Wish it was a better experience. I had to throw most of it away because it wasn’t edible to me. A waste of money :( Also just looked at my receipt and wasn’t charged the special price which was $11.99? I was charged the regular price which was $14.79 with tax. Do not waste your time. I’m probably going to be sick from this food now.
