I struggled with the menu. Definitely pricey for bar food and any type of side was an upcharge, even fries. I ended up with bacon ranch chicken steak. It was good but the fact that it was room temperature ruined it for me. Service was lacking. If server would have checked on us, i would have asked for it to be warmed up. Plus it took an hour+ to get our food, which consisted of 4 sandwiches. Several times we ran out of drinks. Twice I asked for lemon, ended up going to bar and getting it myself. Atmosphere was decent but because band was playing later tables were crammed into what felt like a hallway. Won't be back but would like to try the restaurant below, West Reading Motor Club.
Parking: We got there at 530 on a Saturday night. There were about 10 open spaces I'm assuming they filled up fast.

My husband and I checked this place out last night. The food menu looked really good, and it had a cool atmosphere. However, we waited 10 minutes before the bartender even came over to take our drink order, and then we waited another 40 minutes (at least!) for our food to come out. The burger and fries were cold, and the bartender said he didn't bring a side for the burger bc "there wasn't an option" in the computer. The food was cold by time it came out, as the bartender clearly forgot about us. We overheard the manager saying how she needed to void a check earlier bc they had a 20 minutes wait time, but we had double that and there was no apology from anyone. Worst part is, we were the only people in the bar at that time. We walked in at the same time as another couple, who already ate and left long before we ever even got our food. I was a server for many years so I always try to be understanding, but there is no excuse for the lack of service we experienced. We will not be going back.

First time diner at the Nitro Bar tonight and I was very pleased. The food was delicious and the Milk Stoudt hit the spot. The atmosphere was re look relaxed. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend Nitro Bar.

The bartenders are wonderful! Face always is willing to create a new cocktail to your specific tastes, with a food pairing to match. The best live music on the avenue, sometimes there is a cover but it's always worth it. Highly recommend for locals and visitors alike.
Our server Nelly was top notch, her extreme care and attention to detail as well her ability to make us feel like we were the only table in there has lead to a very good time! I would %100 recommend and ask for Nelly!

Place consistently has great bands, no cover charge, a well stocked bar, and great beer selection and prices are so reasonable. Also: a real longboard in the back! Love Nitro.
