Always a positive experience, and ALWAYS amazing food. Passy prime is my go to, and the Korean chicken fries are a good pair for the passy. Keep an eye out for the specials, which are always solid options. Cannot recommend highly enough

We came here because of all of the social media recommendations. Overall, I don't think we'd come back. We came around 2pm on a Saturday (January 25, 2025), and our order took over 45 minutes for two sandwiches. We did try to order online ahead of time, but the website said that online ordering was not available. You can't go inside, so we waited outside in the cold. 3-4 customers walked up to the window and were served within a few minutes. It was not busy. The cheesesteak and the Italian were both very flexy. The flavor was good, but the texture was not. We expected more for the steep price.

They had my food ready to go when I walked up to the window. Really delicious, I didn't want to stop eating it. The Passyunk was just so filling and tasty. Could only eat half as the garlic parm fries were amazing! You could smell them from the bag and tasted even better. Just make sure you order online ahead of time or it's gonna be awhile before you're served.

Ordered takeout. Don't know what happened but the chicken cheesesteak was super dry. There was barely any cheese. Not sure that I'll return.

The Passyunk prime lived up to the hype from friends but I was even more taken back by their delicious pretzel. Something so simple but can be done poorly. Fresh hot and delicious. Great combo. Definitely coming back.

So. I've had a lot of food around here. This place is awesome!! I had a gizmo, which i only got because I have been trying to find a decent one for a few years now. (for some reason in the last few years every gizmo has sucked!!) The one I got from Tonys of West Reading was IT! The ham they use is delicious, the burger wasn't dry and bland, the roll had the perfect bite to it... not over filled with lettuce like some places, tomato coverage was on point, and the amount of mayo was also perfect. Not to much to make the roll a soggy mess, but not to little that you cannot taste it! And it was full. I'm a big guy, and i only ate half of it... My wife got the steak and cheese sub and said it was awesome. Also a very full sandwhich. My five year old had a cheeseburger, which he finished... and anyone who has kids knows thats enough said in itself. My mother in law had ham and cheese sub which was super full, and my wifes grandma also had the same. We had truffle fries and NJ fries, both of which were super tasty. All of that was 🔥. But the best part? We made a second order for a couple pastelillos... They were the best ones I've ever had. I've had some many pastelillos in my life that I didn't think at 41 I'd find something to top some of them, but the ones we got from tonys put them all to shame! Super full of meat and cheese and other ingredients. every bite from corner to corner had some in it. The flavor of the filling was perfect. And it made me want to order 40 more 😅. I'd eat like 10 myself (like I said, I'm a big guy 🤣) and after my family had their fill I'd give the rest away just so other people could get some before they sold out... which happens in minutes! Parking isn't the greatest, but the food and service makes up for it and more! We will definitely be hitting them up way more often! Thanks @tonys of West Reading, yall made my wife's birthday dinner awesome!

I give Tony's place five stars. Best italian sandwich i've ever had. They spared no expense on the meats, cheese and great bread. Authentic italian flavor.

Tried Tony's heard about it through people who said nothing but good reviews. Passyunk prime rib sandwich was my first sandwich for trial. I might say handsdown it was a well balanced flavorful juicy sandwich the 10" is plenty even for bigger eaters. Don't pass them up if you want to try Berks best then try Tony's of West
