Great place to be forced to listen to uninformed political and medical opinions between the owner and customers. Don't, for the love of god, ever even mention the name Fauci. The workers are great at their jobs.
A hidden gem in the main street. I dined in this establishment with my cousin for our first time. While a bit confusing with the layout, once we figured out table seating was towards the back we had a great experience. It took us maybe 3 or 4 minutes to be seated, 5-10 to look over the menu and given the best service I could ask for. Food was delicious and I will always recommend the fire fries, As the waitress did a fantastic job hyping up the menu. I would give a higher rating...
I was recommended here by the good folks at Gem on Penn (just down the street), and I was not disappointed. I was in the mood for a smaller hot snack, and the taverns French onion soup was an excellent match to their truffle fries. It was a pleasant atmosphere. A busy but not crowded bar was full of smiling faces, cozy conversations, and attentive and smiling service. The food was prompt, delicious, and a great choice for a rainy afternoon. I'll be back on hungrier...
