Home fries way over cooked and burnt. Toast was great, coffee very good, eggs were fine.

Received horrible service. When me and my boyfriend got there we got our drinks and then the waitresse didn’t come back to get our order for at least 10+ minutes . Then while we are waiting for our food another waitress brings us our check and we didn’t even eat yet. The place isn’t that big nor was it crowded for you to assume we ate already. Our waitress brings our food and asks my boyfriend if we needed anything and as he’s about to tell her she just walks away. We never got checked on or provided with extra napkins or anything .When we went to pay for our order the waitress snatched my card out my hand.It seems like a bunch of regulars and not really diverse in people.Horrible experience and won’t be going back !

Great: eggs, home fries, bread company Italian bread, decent bacon. No so great: toast was a bit over done, no real butter, some flavorless margarine on toast pancakes and French toast, no cinnamon in the egg wash or powdered sugar on French toast very flavorless, some kind of lower sugar flavorless fake syrup. Service was good. I’d happily pay more for each meal for actual butter. Tap water was awful even with lemon but not their fault.

Tea was absolutely tasteless. Was like drinking water. But the food I ordered was quite good.

Cute "hole in the wall" diner. Good food, you are able to watch everything being prepared. It is noisy so not the spot for a quiet bite. Family friendly. Definitely recommend stopping in for a casual bite if you're in North Park and looking for something yummy.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly. Has high chairs.

I just had breakfast at Chub's this morning. They were very busy, so it took the better part of an hour to get my food. No problem. The food is kinda basic, not really good. Just the usual thrown together mess you find in most places in the area. The service was alright, took a long time to get a coffee refill. The staff were SUPER busy and really running their a**es off.I probably won't eat there again. There are much better breakfasts in other places.

Great breakfast place. We always eat there before or after we golf the Par 3 behind it.

First time here. Found out about it from someone on YouTube. I visited on a Saturday. The place was pretty busy. I sat at the counter. There was one person on the grill, a younger lady waiting tables along with an older lady. The 3 were holding it down pretty well. I was told by the guy on YouTube to try the L-PO (ell - pO). Its a smash of homefries, green peppers, hot sausage and egg. It was served with a side of Italian toast. I also got a cup of coffee. I understand how others have left reviews about the service, but if you go into it with the expectation that customer service is not a focus, you'll leave feeling okay. They didn't ignore anyone; they simply were not as attentive to you as some other places may be. The food was okay. The potatoes were well cooked, but lacking salt (maybe some people enjoy controlling their salt intake, but they were lacking flavor). If you're looking for breakfast for the sake of having some breakfast, give them a try. Having sat at the counter, I was able to see many things prepared. Their burgers are frozen, their steak is frozen like Steak-Ums. They cook everything on the same grill, so be cautious about about ordering sweet things - they probably will taste like the savory items on the grill. I was going to order french toast as that is often my breakfast jam, but after seeing this, I am glad I did not. If someone asked me to come to breakfast with them here, I would come back, but my expectations would be lower. It's a shame because this place could be so much more with just some minor tweaks.Parking: It is a gravel lot which people can essentially park how they want. When the place is very busy, people start to form a 2nd row in the lot which can be problematic when trying to back out if you are in the front row with a truck.Wheelchair accessibility: While they have a ramp leading up the front door, its a pretty long, steep incline.

I came in here super hungover with a couple of buddies. We enjoyed the jokes, good food, and service. 10/10 will come back again.

When I relocated to Pittsburgh seven years ago my real estate against made a point of pointing out Chub's place and said it was a great local breakfast place. She was right! We love it here. FAST and accurate service, great food. We will be back again and again!
