Graeter's ice cream definitely has higher end and good quality ice cream. My only gripe and my biggest gripe would be the price at the end of the day. Ice cream is ice cream and I don't want to have to choose whether I want to take my family to dinner or take them to Graeter's ice cream

Greaters has some of the better high-end ice cream around Pittsburgh. This location up north of Pgh is squeaky clean, awesome patio off to the side to eat outdoors, or indoor dining seats as well. All of your expected flavors are there including Buckeye Blitz, Madagascar Vanilla Bean, Cotton Candy, and many more! Special feature flavors are always a hit too! The whole family enjoyed the stop into here for a treat!

If first impressions are important, I recommend you hold your breath on the way in the door. There is definitely an...odd smell that greets you. However, as you move further in, the power of it fades. The staff are as eager and friendly as one would desire when taking orders. The ice cream is thick, very creamy, and delicious.
