I orders a half sheet cake for my daughter’s graduation and specifically asks for yellow frosting with tiny blue flowers,the cake had white frosting and it tasted like baking soda!!! 53 dollars for a cake should be much better. Even my daughter who loves sweets said the cake was horrible. Not happy!!

Dudt’s Bakery not only has very delicious products, they are also very kind. I ordered five dozen cupcakes for my granddaughter’s graduation party. She wanted complicated variety so I printed the specifics on a post-it note and gave to Tina when placed the order. On bottom wrote date and time for pick-up. Tina wrote up the order and read it back to me. She happened to mention she had a kind boss Becky, which was nice to hear. When my daughter went to pick up the cupcakes afternoon before graduation party, she was told they didn’t have that order for that day. Tring to figure out what happened, Tina found pick-up date was June 29 - not May 29. Before they even knew I had kept the post-it note and I’m the one who stupidly wrote June 29 instead of May 29, Tina called her boss and the crew came in even earlier next morning and filled the order. The mistake was totally mine. If I hadn’t kept the post-it note would have sworn THEY made the mistake. Thank you Dudt’s for being so kind.

I go there for the cakes I don’t care about the service or the atmosphere. they have the best icing ever and I have traveled the world
Makes my all-time favorite cakes, but has gone increasingly downhill on service. You can't order customized cakes with any real variety like you used to. You can't purchase extra icing to use to decorate with yourself like you used to. Today we learned that the new owner will take your money for a pre-order but then not prepare the order for pickup, so you have to wait in line, which takes more than 30 minutes because the staff has to package everything one by one while people stand at the register. Makes no sense. My family sadly will not be coming back on holidays or before day trips because it takes too long, which is basically the only time we go (several times a year). We literally ordered our wedding cakes from here. Such a shame.

We love this place and ordering cakes from 5 years. We ordered birthday cake for our 3 year old daughter one week prior. Called them to confirm time to pickup, my husband went to pick up cake few hours before party and there’s no cake. They were so irresponsible and didn’t take any responsibility in apology too. We were left there with out a birthday cake for party. So irresponsible and unprofessional.

I’ve been using this bakery over 25 years but I’m done now. I ordered a specialty cake and 60 cupcakes for a baby shower at the beginning of October to be picked up on Thursday October 31st. Two weeks before the day I was to pick it up a rude woman called me to say my cakes were done. It was two weeks before I wanted them. I explained they had made a mistake and I had a witness as to the date I had requested them who actually was sitting right beside me when I received the call. They made the cakes for pick up 3 days before they even called to find out why I hadn’t picked them up two weeks early. I was dumbfounded and surprised they hung up on me. I waited till the next day they were open and asked to speak to the manager to be sure my order would be ready on October 31 like I had ordered them for and already had paid for. I questioned them about them not freezing my cakes because I paid quite a bit for fresh not their 4 day old then frozen mistake. She assured me it would be fresh. When I arrived to pick up my order it was all a mess. It clear to see it was all frozen despite their lies. And had been sitting at the bakery for 3 days before they even froze it! The cake was a cracked mess and the cupcakes were awful looking . They put the icing on with a knife or spoon like you would at home. Absolutely looked terrible. I asked them to fix them and they did a lousey job. It was not dudt quality like I had always experienced in the past. The 60 cupcakes weren’t even in cupcake containers. They were all just shoved into a sheet cake box all of them touching and falling over when transporting. All in all. A disaster from start to finish. I called them and they didn’t even bother to return the call. Guests at the party noticed they were stale and I was sure to let them know it came from dudt bakery. Save your money and go elsewhere.
