Had a great experience last night; our first visit to Nakama. Our chef was David and he was very social and friendly. Made sure he knew how we wanted the steak and chicken cooked. The fried rice was excellent as was the steak and chicken. Cost us $58 before tip which I thought was reasonable. Great atmosphere and family friendly. Good place for a birthday dinner, family outing, or even a date. Can’t wait to return.

My group of 6 all had hibachi meals. Not one of us could complain about anything the food was terrific, the drinks were so good and the hibachi chef was very personable. Everything was cooked to perfection. Will definitely go back.

Chicken was not fully cooked. chef was very nice and entertaining. waitress couldn't have cared less about us. waitresses judge when younger people come in because they think we won't tip. but treating us like crap isn't a way to make us want to tip you more than the standard 20%

We had reservations at 7p, and weren't seated until 7:20. By the time 8:30 rolled around and they hadn't even started cooking our dinner, we left. If you're short staffed, don't fill the Hibachi tables and make people wait over an hour to eat!

Takes so long to get food for takeout and extremely understaffed. Waited an hour and 15 for food and

We used to enjoy going for Hibachi for celebrations here even when it was Miyako. After we were seated it was so cold that we had to ask the manager to please turn the heat up.After many excuses the fan was blowing cold air down on us and the manager claimed this is how the system worked. There were people with their hats and coats on trying to eat dinner.Kyle did prepare a savory meal for us.Now the costly dinners do not include both salad and soup as do all other Hibachi restaurants. We will not be going back to Nakama again. There are many other Hibachi restaurants that have heat and respond to customer's needs. We are telling our friends and family about this disappointment. Very sorry...

Girl at the bar was slow and unattentive even though there were like 3 people there. Had a reservation for 730 and instead of seating us they made us wait even though there were TONS of open seats. My brand new sweater and coat and all my wife’s clothes too, all smelled/stunk like grease and all have to be washed. The steak was over done. The vegetables were under done. The appetizer was served at the END of the meal (don’t know what is up with that ) I had never been there before and I thought we would be having dinner at a restaurant but all the seating is at hibachi ( which I didn’t really want). I wanted dinner with my wife, not with a group. Not going there again that’s for sure.
