I ordered Sir Pizza when I was at Children’s Express Care with my daughter who had pneumonia. I thought our visit was almost over at the doctor, so I placed the order so I could pick it up on the way home for my family. Turns out the doctor had other plans and did a few other things, so I called to just let Sir Pizza know I wasn’t coming. (Not their fault! Mine!) Sir Pizza is a Pittsburgh icon. I pass at least a dozen pizza shops just to eat here. The sauce is perfectly crafted, the cheese is gooey and tastes like it was made by angels. While living in Denver, I had my mother freeze and ship me a dozen pizzas. My friends out there were hooked. A few of my friends even flew into Pittsburgh to visit and made a trip to Sirs a condition of their stay! I've personally sent a few 14" cheese pizzas to my friend who still lives there....
Our large family group of 18 was meeting at the Treesdale Sir Pizza. However, when we got there, it was closed and gone! So we headed to the Wexford location on a Saturday night, and they had plenty of room. The hoagies were a lot better and had more meat and cheese in them than their Ross Twp location
