Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant

This is a new brewery here in the Lehigh Valley. We stopped in for a late lunch after shopping at the mall.

My wife and I sat at the bar and a few of the Vienna Red Lagers. I ordered the Black Bean Burger. This was full of flavor. Nice touch of adding Pico de gallo. One of the better black burgers I've had in a while.

I ordered an old fashioned for dessert. They use Bloody Butcher bourbon whiskey.

This is a huge place. We happened to arrive at a quieter time, which was better for us. Sam was a FANTASTIC bartender!

Parking: Depending on the time you arrive will determine how easily you'll find parking.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience here! Let’s start with the food. The pub burger was fantastic, and my husband enjoyed his cheeseburger. Our server Rachel was absolutely lovely. She brought us complimentary tasters and her service was on point and efficient! 10/10 experience. Definitely come and try this place out.

Food was awful; crabcake sandwich was terrible the crab cake was burnt on top and bottom while under cooked in the middle; why ask how a person wants their burger cooked and it’s made however they want! Asked for medium rare got a hockey puck super well done burger; and the pizza was super soggy, the crust was not done either, but they served it that way anyway and the service was just as bad. Server brought drinks and took our order and had to hunt her down for anything else.

I usually don’t write reviews, but I feel obligated to advise anyone who considers this place for lunch or dinner, to not. I’ve never had such a horrible experience at a restaurant in my life. It’s either really good service with mediocre food, or mediocre service with really good food. At iron hill, it’s really BAD service, and really BAD food. My mother ordered a medium burger that came out well done and bland, and my brother ordered a crab cake sandwich that was burnt on top and raw in the center. My pizza was under cooked, doughy, and also bland. One of the worse restaurant experiences of my life and please, don’t eat there. Or do, experience the monstrosities for yourselves

Tried beer samples and ordered light lager.
Housemade beer bread was pretty good.
We split Thai Chicken Lettuce Wrap, which was very good. Next time wasn't very good.

Thai Chicken Salad for lunch.

Bread Pudding was okay.
Friend said salmon in salad was very good.
They charge $20 to sign up for rewards program, then apply $20 to next bill. Rewards programs are designed to reward customers for loyal business at no charge to customer.

We stopped in here on the way to the LV zoo. I had the gumbo and it was amazing! The atmosphere was great. Our server, Gwyneth was energetic and fun. Highly recommended. 😊

A tuesday night , first time going , Got right in and got seated, waited about 10 minutes until a waitress or waiter came to ask us what we wanted to drink... by the time they came, we ordered our drinks, app, and our meal in one shot, We received our DRINKS about 10 minutes after ordering them, then our main meal came about another 10 minutes after. And by the time we were done with our main meal, our appetizer finally came. Worst service and will definitely not be going back, no apologies or anything.

The food was very good! Our waitress knew the menu like the back of her hand and was able to answer all of our questions. The only issue was the speed of service, but they seemed a little understaffed. If you're in the area, I'd recommend stopping.

Came in sat down waitress comes over 25min later for drinks. Brings alcohol drink but not my seltzer. Food is delivered by a runner and we were not checked on till I had to go to host to get my server. I told her we wanted some things at the table but it didn't matter cause food was cold. Then another 15 min and we asked for the check and if can pay upfront. They said no, once the waitress gives the bill we immediately gave her the cc to pay. She disappeared for a other 20+ min. Asked for the manager all she said was she has tables outside too. You do not take someone's card and not return it immediately back. Never ever again.

We talked about trying this restaurant out but every time we go in that area we always wind up at the cheesecake factory but we know on the weekends it’s too busy , so today was the day.
It is so competitive because we will compare it to similar restaurants.
We’re not interested in the beers, but the quality of the food falls short. It is way over priced for what it is and what you get. Of course we will not be back.
The southwestern entrée salad, lettuce with soggy water on the bottom of the bowl.
Not much a selection in the wings but I got some wings. They just seemed like they were sitting under that heater waiting to be sold. Had Crisp but they were dry it out throughout. The one positive note was the Caesar salad. Small portion was very good that it was good dressing was crisp fresh lettuce, good that was a highlight..
$18.95 for 10 dried out crispy wings with a rip off!
My wife could not finish all the salad and cannot take it home because it was so soggy not fresh at all! There is Ashley water on the bottom of the salad bowl?
So we both finished my Caesar salad, because that was a good part.
Definitely would go to other places close by rather than this , no wonder they were not busy Saturday afternoon. In the end, we got the receipt for our bill which was not even ours. I saw with the receipt was for what they got they got ripped off to..
Our waitress was nice can’t complain. She deserves better.!
Do you self a favor make it early reservation at the cheesecake factory the variety in the quality of the food never disappoints this place will wind up like the Italian restaurant before it and be close soon!

Food: crab cakes were mushy and tasted like Old Bay seasoned mashed potatoes. Salmon patties were mushy with a slight salmon flavor. Side of about 12 French fries were $6.50. Chicken sandwich and shrimp bucatini and gumbo were very good. Pint of beer: $7 to $8 plus. Too expensive for this area. We have lots of excellent micro-breweries with good food. One of our party order a sample of beer; they waited about 15 minutes. I went up to the bar and acquired it. We received but didn't request a couple of beer samples. They were ok to good.
We will not be going back.

Ordered the baby back ribs half rack. The meat was tough and the beer based sauce was simply not good. The fries and the steamed broccoli was what saved the meal and it wasn’t even the meal. The blackberry mule was very good though, definitely recommend.
