“So the Quakertown folks opened a new Tropical Smoothie Cafe on Schoenersville Road in Bethlehem.
I gave it a couple of tries because I love smoothies. However, I had to let the owner in Quakertown know that the employees on Schoenersville Road need to tighten up on their smoothie-making as there were not enough ice crystals in the smoothie, which is the basis of any smoothie.
When it comes to my smoothies, I do not play around and I am one of their major critics. When I was in Columbia, Maryland, I had a budget of around $238 a month at Tropical Smoothie Cafe. So I think I know what a good smoothie is. Actually, a smoothie café is like a coffee shop where you have baristas that know how to make a good cup of coffee. Same situation here with anyone making the smoothie, which I think is much harder to do.
They just opened up recently, so I’ll give them a couple of months before updating my review for them. But Tropical Smoothie Cafe business model is incrediblce! They have breakfast and lunch options that are great quality and never disappoint. Check them out when you get a chance.

Oh, I almost forgot. I am usually rushing before I go to work to pick up my smoothies and my spinach, pesto wrap. Unfortunately, the manager did not have my order in the pick up area like the Quakertown people prepare it. I was looking in the Pick up cubes and nothing was in there. I looked over at the manager and he’s like yeah I got it right here. I’m like well this is the pick up area. Why didn’t you put it there but he gave me no response so I just shrugged it off. Hopefully they can provide some training and utilize the pick up area for its intended purpose. I’m a very busy person - I would like to pick up my stuff and go as I had already prepaid via the app.

Parking: That plaza at Schoenersville Road is incredible. They really put a lot of good stores there, including a Starbucks, Qdoba, So Fresh, jersey mike’s, and many more.“

From the utterly bare bones and uninspired interior decor which hardly makes anyone want to sit in and eat, making it a poor cafe on a basic level, to the straight forward, visually boring menus and equally dull tasting food, I'd hesitate to recommend any Zekraft location or their food to anyone, let alone this one.
