I can understand being out of things but the waitresses brought every meal out at different times. Brought my dinner out at 2 separate times. We ordered kids meals to come out asap first thing and they were just about the last to get their meals. In between waiting for our food our waitress not once offered (nor could we find her) to refill our drinks.
We ate an early dinner here. We have no complaints about the service which was friendly and prompt. However, the food was a little pricey and just not all that good. I don't mind paying $ 15 plus for a burger, but I would expect the burger to be good. It was $ 20 for an appetizer sampler with 3 meatballs, 3 small pretzel sticks, 3 wings and 3 deviled eggs, none of which were all that tasty. Atmosphere is upbeat and pleasant as any typical gastro pub is however, we will not go back because there are much better options in the area for this type of menu.
Brunch is not the greatest. This was my second trip after a couple years. I definitely won't be returning. French toast wasn't cooked all the way. The presentation of the food was great. We mentioned it to the manager and he just said it was due to the type of bread. Brioche bread needs to be cooked longer.
Honestly, we were really disappointed. We hadn't been to the Brick House Tavern in a few years, and it seems to have gone downhill. The floors and tables were dirty, the food was mediocre (not nearly as good as we remembered), the menus were sticky and don't get me started on the state of the bathrooms. Our server was not very friendly and somewhat pushy. I understand it's tough these days to find staff, but everywhere else we go seems to be getting back on their feet without sacrificing service or quality.
We ate here on October 22, 2021, and the food was very good, and our server, Summer, attempted to be efficient, but a severely understaffed kitchen caused us to wait well over 90 minutes for our food. Oh, and they were out of regular napkins, and I guess no one could drive to a nearby supermarket or Sam's Club to restock them. In short, the food was fine, not exceptional, but the wait was unacceptable, and no adjustments were offered, perhaps because we never saw anyone who appeared to be in charge.
Just don't.Don't come for the food. The food is inconsistent to the point that even if you manage to find an item you do enjoy, it likely will be missing part of the meal and/or made with different ingredients entirely next time. Chili is sometimes just a pound of seasoned taco beef, French toast often comes out with soggy white bread, mac & cheese might come with nacho cheese because they ran out of the cheese listed on the menu, etc. The same food served to the same table at the same time might be overcooked on one plate and undercooked on the next.Don't come for the service. Much of the management seems confused as to their role in the restaurant leading to servers and bartenders having to pick up the slack just to survive. It is not uncommon to see only 1 bartender on staff for the entire front of house that must tend the bar, serve all tables inside and outside, take large parties from the hotel next door, and at times even repair equipment or help in the kitchen. All at the same time.I saw one bartender fixing wiring that was causing the bartenders to get an electrical shock when touching the equipment and fixing beer taps that leak/won't turn off on her shift. Next time I was there that same bartender was in the kitchen making her customers' food because the kitchen was so backed up. I found out that bartender no longer works there. I imagine the situation is worse now.Maybe upper management will eventually keep a better eye on this location and it will improve. Maybe this is the best it has ever been or will be. I will not return and cannot recommend it.
Probably the worst restaurant I've been to in all honesty. Management was poor. Glen I think his name was?. seem distracted flirting with all the servers. There was only one bartender.. that seemed like she had no clue on what she was doing. Food was sub par but I did get a great server and she did make my experience better. All in all not coming back. Place needs improvement in my eyes.
Had friends from out of town and used to like this spot. Tonight we waited 2 hours for food, server was not interested in our group, when she finally came after 3 requests for her to visit us she apologized and brought us a burned hurried meal. Never refreshed our beers yet she stood around Talking all night from what I was seeing. Never again. Next time will go to PJ Whelihans around the corner. No! Go elsewhere
Food was amazing and the portions were great. Left so full and satisfied from the excellent food and service. Great place
Out first time here and our server was Dave. Dave was so down to earth! He gave us recommendations and welcomed us and talked to us and we felt as if we were all old time friends! The food was so fresh, good and looked commercial ready! We already planned what we will get on our next visit. The chicken and waffles, the sampler, the Lobster blt, and the dilemma were what we ordered. I had the zombie drink and let me tell you, you will space out (Limit 2)! The brick house is great for a date night or family outing. We were seated by the fire place and it was very picturesque. The sofa literally makes you want to lay down after you eat and get the itis. 10 out of would recommend. Ask for Dave!

Place was dead for a Monday night. Ordered and received food right away. Food tasted good, but not great. Service was TERRIBLE. Our waitress was nice but never refilled our drinks or checked on us. We waited 25 minutes to finally get the check. She didn't come back for the check so we left the cash in our pockets on the table and left.
Such a great place to stop and get great food!!!! A bit loud at times but over all was a great place for a hang out. If you're in the area, stop on by.
The food is average but we expected it to be much better for the price. Staff is overworked, not enough wait staff.
We did a girlfriends brunch and the food was not the best. I would return but only for lunch or if I wanted some ribs or a burger for dinner (just to give it another try). I had chicken and waffles, presentation looked great but the waffles were cold and flavorless. My friend had the Fried Chicken Benedict and it looked NOTHING like the picture and the hollandaise sauce was clumpy. We had the California Pizza and that was pretty good! The service was ok. It is a great spot to watch sports as some of the 2 seater tables had tv's right at their figure tips!! Overall it not a place I'd recommend for brunch!!
The atmosphere was calm and very relaxing. The Phillies game was on and I enjoyed the victory we got. Our waitress Kaitlyn was very patient and fun spirited. She knew well the menu and the answer to all my questions. You try the sangria it's amazingly delicious. I ate brick barbecue ribs and my husband had the drunken pork chops. Totally coming back.
