Took my kids for the first time and they were shocked at how delicious the ice cream was. Staff were friendly. We went in the middle of the day so it was quiet, no line.

We arrived at 8.30 tonight. There was a family of four behind us. Everyone who came in after that family was turned away. About 10–15 people. They tried turning away a little boy but the family of 4 left so he could get some ice cream. It was so uncomfortable to stand there in line for 30 mins and watch while everyone was getting turned away. Open until 9 means accepting customers until 9. Also to add insult to injury the customer in front of me was told he couldn’t get a signature creation because they were missing one ingredient. I spent about 10 minutes at the payment system figuring out how not to leave a tip. Every time I drive by I’ll be giving the coldstone in willow grove a huge thumbs down!

I went into the Willow Grove location with my 5 year old son. He had been asking for ice cream all day. We walked in at 8:40pm and the store doesn’t close until 9. We were immediately told we could not be served because the line would cause the 2 girls working to have to work past the 9pm close time. I asked them kindly if they could just help because my son only wanted a small scoop. They still told me they couldn’t serve us as my son started to cry. A family of 4 left so my son would be allowed to get in line because they felt so bad that the team wouldn’t let us get in.
It would be beneficial to both the team and customers to advise your employees they should allow customers to enter the store until closing OR close your store earlier.
Approximately 10 customers were turned away while we waited.

Overpriced and understaffed. I'd chalk it up to lots of places experiencing something similar in this economy, but from the other reviews I saw after the fact it's been this way for years.

Store sign says OPEN. HOURS OF OPERATION for Friday and Saturday 12-10. Person inside walked away when we pulled up. You could at least change the sign. It’s the summer and memorial weekend.

We love this Cold Stone location—especially the peanut butter ice cream, which is always rich and delicious. The staff is quick and efficient, even when there's a line. It’s our favorite treat spot for a sweet fix. Never disappoints.

From my experience ordering Uber Eats from this place a few times, it feels more like a “hobby” franchise than a “career” one. In other words, someone likely bought it hoping to make money but hasn’t put in the effort or pride needed to uphold the once great reputation of this brand. There’s always something missing from my order, and the food lacks the care and quality that made Cold Stone so great back in the day. The solution is simple: use proper portions, hire the right people, take pride in the product, and pay employees fairly.

Worst ever experience today. Just wanted some ice cream but not from here ever. Not enough help, manager (Asian lady) was flustered and rude. If I want ice cream I will go to Dairy Queen. Thanks for opening my eyes to your lousy establishment. DQ here I come!
My order wasnt great at all. Milkshakes were too thick and had to request whipped cream. They also weren’t labeled. Despite ordering three different flavors, we werent able to taste the difference.

I had an interview for this exact location, yesterday. i don’t recommend ordering here or even working here. the person interviewing me was extremely rude and treated me as i was stupid. she would ask me questions and i told her my answer and then she would repeat what i said just in different wording. then she told me that i wasn’t doing a good job on the question she asked me. she asked me abt if a someone came in and said they don’t like their icecream what would i do? i said i would ask them what is wrong with it and i could proceed with a refund if they don’t like what they ordered and also ask them if they wanted a sample of something to try and she told me i was wrong???? then she asked what if sb comes in and says why aren’t you wearing. i said in the food industry you should always wear gloves. she told me yes & no. which was confusing bc everyone wears gloves when they are working with food . even the girl working in the front was extremely rude, they kept looking at me like i was an alien or something. the manager interviewing me kept trying to belittle me. i would not recommend ordering here or even working there as an employee. the service is terrible and everyone there looks at you like ur different, and very disrespectful.

the website says they close at 11pm friday through saturday and i came last night which was a friday at 10 and they were closing up, don’t advertise that you close at 11 when your workers are closing up at 10 and i drove 30 to this location because it was the only one open until 11 and then i get there and there closed like what!

Hopefully my review changes after I pick up my order. Two days calling back to back myself and someone else in case they weren’t answering because my number comes up as a business. But nope they weren’t answering any calls at this store. Called from open til about 6 yesterday total of 8 calls. Today same and no answer.
