Giuseppe Pizza & Family Restaurant

I always order fries for my kids from here but this is my first time ordering cheese fries. I think they put the cheese from pizza on here, but these aren’t “cheese fries” these are fries featuring cheese as a special guest. Next time I will specify that they are using cheese wiz instead of this. I’m still giving them 5 stars because they always have good food, service and the place is clean. 1 mistake doesn’t take away from all the other great experiences I have had with them. But I thought these fries were comical.

You can never go wrong with this place. The wings and pizza were delicious and the service was on point. One of the best pizzerias in the Delaware Valley.

I have been a loyal customer of Giuseppe’s for nearly two years and always enjoyed bringing my family here. Unfortunately, after my most recent visit 8/16/25, I can honestly say I will not be returning.

After our meal, already in our vehicle the owner approached us accusing my two kids — my son (18) and my daughter (16) — of stealing a salt and pepper shaker from the table. To make matters worse, this accusation was repeated by the waitress, as if it were fact. As a parent, I know my children, and I know they would never take something that doesn’t belong to them, let alone something as small as a table ornament, and especially not in front of me.

What upset me the most was how quickly they jumped to accuse my kids without any proof or even giving us the benefit of the doubt. After supporting this restaurant for so long, it was disappointing and hurtful to have my family treated this way. I expected a family-friendly environment where customers are respected, but instead we were made to feel uncomfortable and wrongly judged.

I’m not writing this out of anger but out of genuine disappointment. This experience left a very sour impression, and I cannot see myself coming back. Respect works both ways, and unfortunately, Giuseppe’s has lost my trust as a customer. Here is a picture of what the ornament may look like it sits on the table holding the salt and pepper with a little pizza man holding a pizza. After this experience the Tip I gave the waiter should have been returned to me but I leave things in Gods hands.

Same as I remember 25 years ago, pizza is still the best, they haven't lost a step..and get the Franny fries!!

Soup was OLD!!! Omg!! AND— Disgusting undercooked pizza with old sour toppings. Had to literally throw it out. Cheese taste different like they switched to bad quality products, too. The nerve to be sold OLD food.

the Pros- they cut there round plain pizzas in 6 slices so you get a larger slice than most places.
the Cons- they just grab the slices with there bare hands and throw them in the oven, dont even use a spatula like every other place does, where were there hands before i walked in??

Randomly ordered from this restaurant today on DoorDash and I was delighted! Got the salmon cheesesteak and fries platter for $12; the salmon cheesesteak was made really well, perfect amount of cheese, I would have just preferred a bit more seasoning but it had a nice light flavor. I got the plain fries and forgot to ask for s&p so they were bland. All in all, I would order it again.

Our non profit gathered for a luncheon yesterday. Had the best food and friends gathered.
Definitely will meet at Giussepies again.

I was getting first time two large pizzas and calamari. When I ordered I asked for thin crust, unfortunately pizza dough was not thin at all. Phone service was horrible. Maybe phone connection or something.I didn't like veggies pizza at all . It a lot of dough and not enough veggies plus veggies was not fresh. In Sicilian works there too much dough, slimy from inside, no flavor. The dough itself like a bread. Some places undercooked. Further more, calamari was the only thing that actually ok. In my taste , it was over fried and could be better seasoned. I would never go back to this place.
