Since it's too late to name my 1st born child after this bakery, I'll have to name my new spare tire: Weinrich. Thanks for giving me a reason to buy new pants, folks. Gonna quit my job and eat that cake til I die.

Went to get an assortment of treats for Sunday splurge day for my "mom"? (she got half, I'm not a monster)The staff are always polite, friendly & helpful. The selection of treats is ridiculous! I left with 3x as much as I went in for & was not disappointed.? My top picks have to be the cream puffs filled with a delicious vanilla custard, flaky buttery huge croissants, and buttercream frosting..I mean the cupcakes! (with the amazing buttercream frosting) are the perfect size for cheating and not googeling weigh watchers immediately after.

We found Weinrich's several years ago when we did a taste test of cupcakes from 6 bakeries in the area to help us decide where to get some for our daughter's birthday. Their cupcakes were (and still are) the most moist and delicious we've found and now we use them for every birthday and special occasion when we need a cake or cupcakes. We get so many compliments from guests and I love referring people to them. I also order from them for people at work who have birthdays! They are so easy to work with and only need about 2 days for most orders. They also do an excellent job with printed art on top of their cupcakes which really makes it easy to do a dessert for a themed birthday.

I am appalled I have to give this review I've ordered many cake from here but today was my last time picked up my daughter's beautiful bday cake,b4 leaving I asked for a top I was told it would mess up the cake I then asked for plastic wrap & was also denied for same reason..in my many yrs I have never walked out a bakery with an open box never the less would be allowed to walk out a bakery with a open box..I would expect the head bakery or any of the othe 8 ppl at this bakery to figure out how to box this cake & not let a customer walk out with a open cake in the outside elements exposing it to all types of bacteria..I took the cake stopped at my aunts house a few minutes away n wrapped it myself.. AN EXPERIENCED BAKERY WOULD HAVE NEVER LET A CUSTOMER WALK OUT WITH A OPEN CAKE EVEN MORE SO WOULD HAVE FIGUED OUT HOW TO BOX THE CAKE WITH IN 2 WKS OF ORDERING.. I may not be a bakery but I damn sure know that I should have not been able to walk out of this store with an open cake.... below you can see the open cake in my car I also added the pics of how I wrapped it

I had always passed by and been curious about this place. Today I wanted to grab a nice birthday cake for my wife and had planned to go to Paris Baguette because we like their cakes. While on the way I decided to stop in and try this local family owned bakery instead. Upon entry I was showered with greetings and people offering to help me. Everyone was extremely friendly and hospitable. They were patient with me while I made my decision and even offered suggestions. I ended up leaving with a nice birthday cake, a box of macarons, birthday candles, and a cannoli to go with my coffee. I spent less than I would have on just the cake if I had gone to Paris Baguette (which I still love, this is not anti PB post). Everything was fresh and delicious. On the way out I was greeted again by the owners and they told me about the history of their family business. I worry places like this won't be around much longer so it's nice to support them. Definitely worth a stop.

At work each year on our birthday, we get to pick the cake we would like for our special day. Every year this task gets more and more difficult because excellent bakeries seem to be disappearing (unless you live in South Philadelphia or are in the area near Crossroads Bakery). A friend suggested Weinrich's and ordered a lemon cake ~ it was a buttery, superbly moist layer cake with whipped cream frosting and the decoration on top was so beautifully done, it was most certainly a work of art. It was beyond delicious ~ too wonderful to even try describing. Everyone absolutely loved the cake and it was decided Weinrich's would be our 'go to' place from here on out.

I only take time out to write a review if I'm giving 5stars. But the way Beth the owner spoke to me was unbelievable. I called about danishes that I purchased . They had hardly any filling but covered with icing. She was so nasty telling me that it's nothing she could do and that's it. She just got back from vacation. So that explained why the danishes weren't the same. And when you travel far and don't get what you expect it's bad. I've been patronizing and sending several people to them since I was younger. I had to let her know that I wasn't expecting anything. You should want to know what's going on with your business so when you are away you have consistency. I'm still so bothered that she even had the nerve to speak to me the way she did. Beth's attitude was just as bad as the danish. But I won't refer anyone else to them. And I'll be getting my daughter's birthday elsewhere. And I'm going to make sure o post this review on every app I can so no one else's has to experience what I did. It really just messed my day up.

Best bakery around, if you have never been there , you don’t know what you’re missing. I hadn’t been there in a long time, i was in the area and just had to stop in.A bought a birthday cake for a co-worker, some of the mini cinnamon buns, could not stop eating them, should have bought more of them. The staff is excellent, friendly and knowledgeable.
