Pleasantly surprised. Food was very good and the diner is cleaner than I had ever seen it under the previous management.

I’ve been here a few times and my experience has always been great. However today was not okay. I understood it was a busy Sunday, Father’s Day and all, I came in and asked for a table for 7. My party was about 15 min late but they had a wait, no problem. They sat me and I explained that my party was still late but they were coming, they still let me keep the table. 15 min later a red headed waitress rudely explained to me that I had “exactly 3 min for them to get here or I needed to get up since your party isn’t here, we need the tables”. She condescended to me and when I explained they were just about to pull in she sat the table anyways. My party walked in 1 min later and they now had no table for us. I was asked again, how many people were in my party and I said 7. She then said “well where are they??”, 3 of them were standing with me and they other 3 were standing in the foyer. My aunt was upset with the way she was speaking with us and asked her to lose the attitude. To which she responded that she gave no attitude and that I need to act my age. We left after that since clearly she wanted a fight and we would be waiting a long time for another table. I’ve worked in the service industry for 10 years and could not believe that interaction, I would never treat anyone that way. So disappointing.

Will not be coming back. Waitress was absolutely rude today. Forcing people out of their seats when their family is coming in the door for the seats. On top of the terrible food since there has been new owners. Will not be returning. A shame since we have never had issues.

We had worked a really long day in Bethlehem PA, 3:00 AM till after 8:00 PM. The Gap Diner is considered a reward for my guys so we were really looking forward to the stop, albeit late. Getting there at 8:50 PM, instead of ushering us away since they were closing in ten minutes, a most kind server, outside for a break, saw us and urged us to hurry our old tired bones up to get inside quickly so that we would not be turned away. Upon reaching the front door, the same server met us with open arms and took care of us personally. Gap Diner and that woman were heroes for me that day. My sincere thanks and appreciation is offered. We will be back for sure. I will be sure to be there earlier the next time.

The patrons were awesome and friendly, the staff was AMAZING and very attentive in any requests I had before, during, and after my meal. I will most certainly stop in again when I'm in the area. If you are looking for a good place to grab a bite or sit and have some peace and a meal this is it! Great food menu and great people
Best Valentines Day dinner EVER! The Steak was delicious, The lobster was DIVINE. The service was great! Our waitress was FOCUSED… cuz they were really busy! She did a great job! We never go out to eat on Valentine’s Day but this was a GREAT decision. Here’s photos of the 1 -1/2 pound tomahawk ribeye and the 1 pound lobster tail. The waitress offered us chocolate covered strawberries that she made herself, the Hostess brought me a rose, the owner gave me a little teddy bear. Oh and the beautiful decorations? No need for a trip to Tamaqua (IFYKYK). Amazing.

I always come in with my daughter and the food is always good, hot and plentiful! Our waitress Desiree is always a pleasant person. She always greets you with positive energy even though she may be busy with out her tables she’s always on point with everything :)

I stopped in passing through with my boyfriend and daughters. food was hot and sized proportionally for the price we paid. Desiree was a great waitress. She was attentive to my daughters and brought the drinks and food out in a timely manner.
