Very nice deck, server was really nice, food was fair. Onion rings were overly coated, but were pretty good. Jalapeno margarita was great! Lol

It was beautiful. We were eating outside right above the
Sasahanna river, service was great. Food was great. It was around 2 PM and they were packed at that time. My mom's coming out for 2 weeks and I can't wait to bring her there

Drove an hour to check this place out, figured it would be nice to eat riverside. Food was good, service was okay for a Friday night—but my god, be prepared for spiders. I had spiders casting webs from the deck railing onto my drink and crawling all over the table, spiders dropping down from the umbrella that sat over the table. I also was sitting with my back against some plants and realized shortly after that I was completely covered in ants. I understand it states in the menu in fine print about the bugs associated with the outdoor seating, but this was more than flies or some gnats hanging around. I’ve eaten at restaurants outside before and I’ve never had such a poor experience like I did here, It is disgusting. Maybe work on a solution for the excessive spiders instead of suggesting customers be moved indoors if they have a problem with it.

While I wanted to give 5 stars I just could not. The lack of customer service is trash! I recently visited Duke’s with two friends for dinner, and while the food was good, the overall experience left much to be desired. I was waited on by Ashley.

We originally planned to sit outside, but the patio was swarming with bugs it honestly could be sponsored by Disney for a new film (a bugs life) felt like they were having their own personal gathering out there. It was impossible to enjoy, so we opted to sit inside instead.

Unfortunately, the service inside wasn’t much better. The tone from the staff was cold and unwelcoming. My chicken sandwich arrived missing the onions I requested more than once, and my friend was given the wrong fries and still charged Incorrectly although that isn’t what she ordered entitlement is crazy! While waiting for the correct items, we were horrified to see a mouse run through the restaurant and hide behind and check out station completely unacceptable and concerning from a cleanliness standpoint.

To top it all off, the bill included bogus charges. Without correcting, which only added to the frustration. Basic math! Chicken sandwich $13.75 with fries and water. Came to $20.14 you can’t tell me this is correct at all! One person was charged for ranch while the rest were not.

This experience was disappointing from start to finish. I won’t be returning, and I hope Duke’s takes these issues seriously from staff attitude to pest control (but mice are normal in restaurants per Ashley and the manger chris the place is near the water mice are completely normal) because right now, it’s not somewhere I’d recommend.

I called and spoke to a manager named Codi, she said I’ll call you back so we can make things right. Long story short I NEVER received a call back and no one made it right! Called John, crickets called back to speak with Chris and he was dismissive as well.

This place is great! Have been here twice and haven't had a bad dish or experience yet. When I first went, I thought the prices were steep until I saw how much food they gave us. Coupled with the experience of dining on the deck, value is definitely there!

Vibe was good, outdoor seating was right off the water. The deck was large with plenty of seating. Waiter was nice and fun to talk with. Food was igght, but cold. Probably the best thing we ate was the clam chowder, and the worse thing we ate was the fish sandwich (tartar sauce was good though). I think if literally every food item wasn't cold, it would be a good spot.
