Could be the best huervos rancheros and Mexican home fries ever! The place is spacious, the menu expansive, the staff tremendous, and they serve my favorite meal of the day all day. The selection of authentic Mexican dishes is fabulous. My new go to place after church!

First time here. Surprisingly a place called Yankee Doodle Diner is American and Mexican food. I had a typical American diner meal (which was good) and my table mates had Mexican food. Everyone said they enjoyed their food. I will visit again after this good experience.

Went for a meeting and had a yummy breakfast only to discover this is a Mexican restaurant! I'll be taking my husband soon tonsee what he thinks.

We ordered from the restaurant on Uber Eats app. Our food arrived and it was NOT the $107.00 worth of food we ordered. The Uber driver stated it was the Yankee Doodle restaurant fault so I called them for which they blamed the Uber driver. Truthfully, I at first believed it to be the Uber drivers fault. The Restaurant said they would remake the order but would have to charge us again because it’s Uber Eats fault. I got into our vehicle, left the hotel, drove to the restaurant and waited for them to remake the dinners. The young ladies working was extremely nice. I have no complaints about the friendless of the employees! They bagged the food and promised it was correct so we drove back to hotel thinking there’s no way the orders would still be wrong. Sure enough complete dinners was missing. At this point we have been trying to eat for over 2 hours and I was frustrated beyond even being hungry. I called restaurant asking for a refund on the missing dinners. They said they couldn’t do it until the next day, well it’s the next day and I still don’t have a refund. Uber Eats refuses to do anything about the order because their driver didn’t leave the food he delivered that was wrong so I could photograph the food being wrong. This restaurant doesn’t appear to be doing anything about completely screwing the order up I know once but maybe twice depending on who I chose to believe (them or the Uber driver). All I can say is this, I paid a lot of money for food we never received. Was the food that we did receive good? In all fairness it was decent. I am grateful for their friendliness and the attempt but dang, I am just so frustrated at the expense and lack of not getting what I paid for.

I had the Mexican Eggs Benedict, it was like mixing 2 of my favorite things together to make breakfast. Tacos and eggs. Next time I think I would get it with the hash browns and extra avocado. So yummy.

The food was great though it was a long wait time for it to be delivered to the table. The waitress was attentive though the person I was having lunch with never ordered coffee she kept attempting to refill it. He eventually ordered a soda.

If this place has a problem, it's that I'm not sure they know what it wants to be. That's not necessarily a bad thing, as long as you can thread that tricky needle.

Is it a Mexican restaurant? Yes. Is it an All-American diner? Yes.

You would think that this sort of diverse menu might lead to mediocre food, but so far, we have been pleased with the quality.

These guys can make a mean smoky fajita, or a ranchero huevos omelette, or a simple cheeseburger. Pretty much whatever you are in the mood for.

I truly admire their ability to have this kind of variety and not let the quality suffer.

The unsweetened iced tea is fresh, And their soft drinks are on point.

The inside of the place is a bit dated, but in the last few months I have noticed that they are doing their best to improve the overall look, and I think it's working.
