Our party of 4 ate at this restaurant Sat, 11/22 for lunch. One of us ordered a regular Coke & was given a diet Coke...she reacts to artificial sweeteners in diet drinks, so she knew immediately she was given the wrong drink. The waiter corrected the mistake. She also ordered a cheeseburger, & received a bacon cheeseburger, however, the waiter took her plate after she pointed out the mistake, & in a short while, he brought her the correct burger. About a year ago, I went to John Wright Restaurant for Sunday brunch with a group of friends. I didn’t know what to expect, but the moment I arrived, I was struck by the beautiful waterfront scenery and the stunning, rustic building. Inside, that old-world charm blends perfectly with an upscale dining vibe, giving the place a truly special and unique energy. Came here for my nieces first communion I got the 16 oz NY strip it was delicious very flavorful and the garlic mash was to die for. Only thing I would change is the chairs outside but it’s about the food not what you sit on. I rate this experience 9.7/10
