After numerous people recommending John Wright, my wife and I decided to give it a try for our anniversary dinner. We did make a reservation. Everything was excellent - from the time we walked in til we walked out. Our server was very friendly, attentive and knew the menu well. The crab and corn risotto starter was absolutely delicious. I could order just several of those and be happy. I had the crab stuffed Mahi Mahi - it was so good, I was sad when it was gone haha. My wife had the seafood manicotti. Another fantastic dish we'd order again. The dessert was a light but mouth watering cheesecake. We can't wait for a little warmer weather to dine outside. The view of the river is great from inside but even better when we walked out to the patio.

This restaurant is located on the shores of the Susquehanna River. The views are awesome!!! We eat in the full service restaurant. My shrimp and grits were out of this world crazy good. Our service was attentive and they accommodated our desire to eat a slow paced dinner. There is a bar with live music and an outdoor bar with a casual menu... The pizza looked great. I will return here again.

I have been here once for dinner and once for lunch. The food was good both times. The only drawback is that the chef likes to add things I don't like into each dish for some reason. Like who puts asparagus in cream of crab?Other than that, the food is as you order it and the staff is spot on.Word to the wise, don't try to get in on a holiday like mother's day without reservations way in advance.
Beautiful venue for a nice romantic dinner or lunch. Loved that they’ve partnered with local farms for most of their menu items. This was my first visit and was at lunch time. Looking forward to going when the lights are down for dinner. Service was a bit slow but, I’m taking that with a grain of salt as we went around 2pm.

Went with another couple for the date night special (buy one entree +app and get the second entree free). Shrimp & grits app was very flavorful and was a nice portion. I had the seafood manicotti - very rich, could only eat half - but very delicious.The only downside was that the place was completely cleared out by 8:30, we were literally the last table. Even though the waitress said we could stay and get dessert/coffee, we all felt a little weird staying when they would probably like to close up. The door said they close at 9, but the waitress says they sometimes close at 8 in the winter. Idk, this was late March.
