We came from Toronto (Mississauga) which is the hub of desi food in North America to visit our relatives in PA. Googled and found this place. The food here is very good. Their Biryani and Daal are as good as any desi restaurant in North America. We also tried their Karahi naan and Green tea at the end. and the service and hospitality was excellent. The owner himself is the cook and gave us complimentary appetizers as well. highly recommended !

I got the goat biryani, my wife got the lamb nehari curry, with the side of naan, both dishes were excellent, very flavorful, the meat was tender, juicy, not dry at all. Spice level accentuated the flavors without overpowering the dish. Service was excellent.

Found this gem in town! The chicken biryani and butter chicken are excellent. It is the best Pakistani cuisine! The inside is decorated nicely and friendly and welcoming staff!

First time--this place is bad. I dont know if the reviews are bots or if the lunch service/chef is different but I paid 34 dollars for a luke warm/watered down $8.20 lassi??, $20.80 for 'butter chicken', and 4 dollars for flat, pizza dough 'garlic naan'. By flat naan, I mean reheated and burnt tortilla.
I got 5 pieces of boiled chicken cubes drowned in tomato sauce for 21 dollars. Anyone would be pretty disgusted by the business practice but it goes further--they charge 4% across the board on top of listed prices, not including PA restaurant tax (6%).
The front counter woman couldnt hold a conversation without sounding annoyed and they didn't give me the "take-out discount" listed on their window, nor did they mention it after I paid. I was going to sit down but the conversation was so dogged that I had to keep asking questions because she would just stare.
I walked out, seeing red flags and no intention to post a review except to never come back again.
Then I opened my bag and witnessed the most expensive mid meal I've ever ordered.
Out front is just a bunch of people chain smoking giving stink eye, with a giant nasty dumpster with 3 barrels of chemicals oozing next to it.
But that food was crap, the masala tasted like tomato paste, the paneer was felt fake, the parantha felt like it came out of a package.
I’m reading other reviews but idk that they’re actually real…
I got a mango lassi that was watered down, a paneer masala and bread and somehow it was 40 bucks …
I don’t mean to be spiteful but it’s just not acceptable ?
