A nice historic tavern. You can see bottles and glass from George Washington's time that they have put in glass cases on the wall. The kitchen though messed up the order, I ordered a cheeseburger and only got a burger and not the toppings I wanted that my boyfriend said he didn't want. They did it to my burger
Today after my Son's funeral I invited 72 guests to the Continental Tavern for lunch and drinks.
The food was magnificent and the staff was beyond perfect.

Varied menu of classic American food, e.g., burgers, salads, flatbread, etc. in an historic tavern (photo). I had a great apple, feta cheese, nuts, etc salad that delicious. For sharing we ordered a basket of onion rings and another basket of sweet potato fries. YUM!
