First time back since the pandemic and very disappointed to learn that Friday nights there is a limited menu. The food on the smokehouse menu was sub-par.While the staff did their best to keep things moving they had too much ground to cover to give adequate attention to the customers. Especially once a few tables of 4 were seated.Give the customers the opportunity to order off the full menu plus the smokehouse menu on Friday nights.

Was there tonight, thought that it was buck a shuck on Friday nights but it wasnt . Very crowded and understaffed. Long wait for your drinks and for your food and very limited menu. Won’t go back again

I feel like this place was grossly mis-advertised. I did not see a single customer outside the country club golfers, and no effort at all was made to serve us. The materials make it look like a public facing pub serving new-american food and beer. I was surprised I had never heard of this place as long as I've lived in the area, and now I know why! If you really want to know what it was like.... Walked in, waited 5 minutes with one to two dozen geriatric sun stroked golfers gawking at my wife (one of three females in the building including the bar tender and one waitress?). Eventually someone in a spiffy polo shirt asked if we are here for "a quick lunch". It was past 5. Anyway, I say "Yea, dinner and some beer.". Now at this point, he does not offer to seat us. Instead he just stands there and looks at us. It was super awkward. Taking the initiative, I ask if we should seat ourselves. He says sure sit anywhere you like. Many of the tables were dirty, and they claim they open at 4pm (so its been just an hour yet..). We managed to sit at a clean table in the middle of the room. Then we waited again. Watched a few more walking viagra commercials try to eye f*** my wife and another girl who had the misfortune of being there. I wink at the wife to signal that we might bag it. Waited some more. Kid started getting cranky. No activity. I see the guy that we originally talked to was still hiding in the corner, clearly he wasn't trying to serve us. No utensils/menu/greeting, no activity etc. There was only one waitress and she was clearly busy trying to pretend that she liked golfers. So we bagged it and left. Other then giving this place a shot I have no regrets about walking out. Not planning to try it again. Would not recommend unless you are the type that needs to drink beer when you tell your family you are golfing.

Everything was delicious! We started with a quesadilla, then I had the fish tacos (best ones of my life!) and my fiancé had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. It was so peaceful sitting outside and the wait staff was great too!

June 2020: We ate dinner at a table on the patio overlooking the beautiful green rolling hills of the golf course. The food is excellent, casual fare. We live about 15 miles away in NJ, but well worth the short trip to this restaurant in PA. Highly recommend.

The new operators of the restaurant are a major improvement from the past. Both the quality of the service and food are excellent.

Loved it. Oysters $1 each on "buck a chuck happy" hour Friday night. We had so many I think they are swimming in my tummy now. Sooo delicious!! Seriously one of the best oysters we have had. Beer $2 and wine $4. Cant beat it. Service was amazing due to Travis and Jen. We were early for happy hour and Travis said no problem. We appreciated that. Music was starting as we left. We will definitely be brining friends back next time. Table next to us ordered chicken fingers...I wanted a taste bc they looked sinfully good. The restaurant/bar is a good size and over looks the golf course. We look forward to sitting on the deck in nicer weather. They have different specials each night of the week. You can tell they want to please.

A great new place with great food & service. The room could use a little sprucing up for the non- golfing crowd. In a great location lacking nearby restaurants - the place is a winner! We cannot wait to go back!

Tired of some of the other options in Yardley, I decided to give MPH a try. I was not not disappointed as the service was friendly and food was nicely prepared. I can't wait to go back, especially with great views from the deck. Give it a try!!

I am very excited to have such a new and refreshing option replacing the former Highlands Grille. Well not very inexpensive it is fresh and inspiring.

We ate at Makefield Public House on a Sunday night. As it was cold out and past dark there were no golfers around. It was very quiet, the food was imaginative and good, and our server was friendly, welcoming, appropriately attentive. We are new to the area and it was nice to find this restaurant! We will be returning.

While we had a reservation, we got to the restaurant to discover there was a private party. There was a not for all others to enter the restaurant thru the pro shop. The pro shop was dark and the door locked. We went back inside to find a staff member to ask about reservations. We looked for 10 minutes and no staff could be found. We went to another restaurant
