The service was very nice and friendly but the food was so so. The bagel I ordered wasn't really good at all.

Went here and got a plain bagel with plain cream cheese to assess their basic bagel quality compared to other local bagel shops. The texture was quite strange, as it was overly waxy and like eating stale bread- really, flat out uncomfortable. They make their bagels ultra-thick in an attempt to emulate the NY-style bagels. But being thick doesn’t mean it’s a good bagel. On the whole, it was more of a Kaiser roll than a bagel.

James from keystone was kind enough to remind me that I have yet to give your establishment a kudos for the great service and food. I never have to worry about missing food. Food under cooked or cooked incorrectly. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Me and my sister were visiting Pennsylvania from Chicago for the first time. Decided to try some bagels at RJs and we literally could not have asked for a better bagel. The bagel was literally the best bagel I’ve ever had. The owner was very nice and came up to us and was very friendly even gave us some bagels for free! I definitely recommend this place amazing service, amazing owner, and amazing BAGELS!
I've been a fan of RJS since their first day over 20 years ago.Excellent bagels, but the wraps are equally good. Try the Bomber

I had a jalapeño bagel with jalapeño and cheddar cheese cream cheese and it was absolutely outstanding. I highly recommend RJ Bagel to anyone who likes bagels and also who prefers a little spice with their bagels. Also, their plain, blueberry, cinnamon raisin, wheat, multigrain bagels (etc.) are great. You won't be dissappointed with any bagel/cream cheese from RJ's. Enjoy!

Just got a plain bagel with lox spread. $4.39. Bagel was tough and tasted stale. A thin microscopic bit of lox spread. Stale bagel at 9:30 am. Not acceptable. Need to find a new bagel place.

If they’re fresh they’re good here, but these bagels are not all fresh. I think some may have been frozen and rebaked. I’ve noticed this with several of the less popular flavors like garlic and salt bagels. I’m from Brooklyn and I know what a fresh bagel is. For example, I haven’t noticed it with their plain, sesame or everything bagels. These are popular and usually sell out in most bagel shops. Also, they charge $1.50 per bagel here. The other shop in Tullytown charges $1.10 per bagel.

Used to love RJs but the service has gotten so bad over last few years, and sandwiches are just not as good as they used to be
