Amazing ice and soft serve. Silky smooth and creamy!

They have many vegan water ice options, vegan oat milk soft serve, and dole whip. Sometimes they have vegan ice cream sandwiches. The cherry water ice and oatmilk soft serve are my favorite! Note that they're only open in warmer months. Updated from previous review on 2025-07-16

Best thing I've ever eaten

Unique water ice flavors are executed to perfection! The cannoli and the salted caramel flavors are especially delicious in a gelati. I visited from Philadelphia and this is the best water ice I've had in the greater Philadelphia area!

This is a little ice cream joint tucked behind Mil-Lee’s Diner. Although it’s not on the main street, people know it’s there because there was a line when we arrived. The people behind the counter kept the line moving. We had orange cream water ice with vanilla soft serve on top. It was creamy and delicious. Worth the wait in line!! They only take cash.

Yardley - the original - and still the best!

This is an amazing place. The lines are long for a reason. The ice is lovely after a hot day. It’s also in a very nice location. WORTH IT!!!!

The soft serve is good, but there really isn't a lot of flavor selections. The milkshake game is on point though 👍

Yardley Ice House does a great job of labeling vegan/non-vegan ice options. They also had vegan soft serve which made a delicious addition to the ice!

I’m confused about this place. Maybe the girl was new but she said there has never ever been ice cream ever sold. But I look at the pictures and the 23 other reviews about the soft serve and I see ice cream.
I didn’t even know that the flavors on the wall were water ice and that’s not anyone else fault. I didn’t know where I was.
I got the peanut butter cup ice and it was alright. I think I rather have polish water ice. But that’s just my opinion.
My friend got some blizzard type jawn and I thought that was a lot better so maybe I just got the wrong thing.
I did ask if there were any ice cream places around and she said she didn’t know. That’s fine too.
There is one single bench outside. I’ve never been there so I don’t know if they put more places to sit when it’s the summer.
That’s really all. I don’t need to go back. They do have pup cups for your pup.

Parking: Good size lot.

Looked good, but it didn’t take credit card, so we and the — honest to goodness — 10 people who showed up after us all ended up walking over to the gelato place just up the road.

Maybe consider just adding a 3% fee to credit card purchases? Makes it really hard to come here with a family (who carries that much cash?).

The best icees, gelati, and ice cream cones I have ever had!!! If you want premium quality, this is the place! The flavors of water ice change frequently so if you're a fan of a certain water ice, go each day to get your fix because there is no sure way of knowing if it's being served that day so giving a call may help! I also love the fact that offer you samples of each kind you may be interested in to help you decide, your not stuck with purchasing something you may not like! The raspberry dipper for the custard is AMAZING!!!! My first time trying and it has become my fav! Yardley's Ice House is a must try if you are in town!!!
