This small restaurant is located on the main road to York Springs. We stopped by on a Saturday and found that it wasn't very busy. The food was decent, and the kids enjoyed the grilled cheese meal. You can see that the owners are trying to improve the interior dining area. Space heaters were placed around the checkout and dining area, which is a bit concerning for parents with young children who like to explore independently. Overall, it's a nice place for dinner.

An absolutely relaxing meal. We got there after lunch and before dinner rush. Staff was attentive and not smothering the food was marvelous. Even though I thought the serving might be a little on the low side for a hungry man. It absolutely filled the belly and every mouthful tasted wonderful.

**Review:**

El Rancho Grande is a culinary gem. From the moment we walked in, the vibrant decor and traditional music made us feel like we were in Mexico.

The service was excelente. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu with great recommendations.

We started with tacos al pastor, which were bursting with flavor and topped with fresh pineapple and cilantro. The kids enjoyed their quesadillas, which were perfectly cheesy and served with a side of rice and beans. We also savored the sopas, rich and hearty with a perfect blend of spices.

El Rancho Grande is a standout in Mexican cuisine. Every dish was auténtico and delicious. Five stars, sin duda!

We discovered this place on our way home from gettysburg and it was amazing! They have many Mexican and American options and plenty for my vegetarian husband. He got a quesadilla and I got the steak tacos and both were fresh and very filling! I highly recommended this place!

I have been here three times for breakfast and it's a decent breakfast in the area.

The milk prices are a little crazy; $3.50 for ~8oz glass? That translates to $56 for a gallon or roughly an 800% markup on milk. 800%!!! THAT'S INSANE. We are literally surrounded by dairy farms...and all you do is pour it from one container to a smaller one and it takes up 235 cubic inches of cooler space. Even if the price was $1 per glass, you would make a 90% profit on a single gallon if you bought that gallon of milk from Rutter's which is 3.3 miles Southeast.

Anyway, I like their breakfasts including the authentic Mexican fare they also serve. The bathrooms are immaculate and the staff is very friendly.

Parking: I estimate 18 parking spots but will count them next time. Trailer or RV parking may be difficult if they are busy.

Went twice within the last month. Cannot wait to get back! First time I had Torta with Pineapple. DELICIOUS! Recently, I tried the Sopes. BOTH WERE VERY GOOD, but I cannot wait to get back and have anonother Torta! Super friendly and fantastic environment. PERFECTO!

Ray’s is our hidden gem here in Spring Grove. Breakfast available all day. They have traditional American fair, Authentic Mexican or even some pasta meals. Personally their Mexican Breakfast menu is my favorite! You won’t be able to get an authentic Mexican Breakfast anywhere else in the area.

Ray’s is also family friendly, everyone is sure to find something on the menu. And their run by a friendly family. I highly recommend you give this place a shot.

Parking: Ray’s is next door to the Firehouse with a parking lot on the side and street parking out front.

Kid-friendliness: Kids will find something good to eat, including homemade ice cream! Plus there’s a lot of memorabilia and decor to view and keep them occupied!
