I’ve been coming to Northern Bay my whole life, and this place (previously Hogan’s) used to be my go-to spot. But after this weekend, I genuinely don’t think I’ll ever go back—and I definitely won’t be recommending it to anyone.
We went to our summer home and didn’t have any water, so we stopped into the store. There was a case of water sitting out, and I asked if it was for sale. The girl working just hit me with a flat “no,” like I was dumb for even asking. I followed up and asked if they had any water, and she said yes—but it was like pulling teeth to actually get any help. Her attitude was awful, and honestly, she made me feel like a complete inconvenience for even speaking to her. If you’re going to work customer service, bare minimum is being somewhat helpful. She wasn’t.
Then the next night, we planned to eat at the restaurant. It was a scorcher of a day—35°+ with the humidity—and we were told it would be a 15–20 minute wait and that we had to leave the area while we waited. We popped back into the store to stay cool and then went back after the wait time, only to be told they weren’t serving anyone else. The way the server spoke to us was just flat-out rude. No apology, no explanation, just bad attitude.
I don’t know what happened to this place, but it’s completely gone downhill. This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at Delaney’s. The staff were unhelpful, unprofessional, and honestly just rude. If this place was in town, it wouldn’t last a week. You’re only surviving because you’re the only option out here—and that’s the sad truth.

Pretzel was cold in the middle. Steak sandwich was over done and tasted like they cooked on the grill for a week and never cleaned. Onion rings over done. Buffalo chicken pizza was very salty. Worst bar food i ever had and we were the only people eating. Seen one pizza go out

First time in was so good, I went back the next night, and it was just as good. The steak sandwich is one of the best I’ve had!

Never been inside and never will simply because your customer do not know how to park everyday I come down the road and they block the road directly in front of the stop sign if your customers are too lazy to park across the street or up two feet they shouldn’t be going out pls relay the message to your customers or the never time I will call the police and have them towed and it’s not just one person it’s multiple

Great food, great environment, great people to B.S. with, only issue is someone needs to learn how to count. Got charged for an extra drink. I get it. It happens. When I brought it up, I got painted as a liar. Really had high hopes for this place. Maybe you'll have better luck.
