Came here on our way back from the Renaissance festival in Pittsburgh and had the best first time experience. Food was excellent and well worth the wait! The service was spectacular and came by often to refill our drinks too. I look forward to coming back :)
The tomato sauce was simple and very flavorful. The chicken Parmesan was crisp on the outside while moist and tender on the inside. The chicken Marsala was equally good with delicious mushrooms and sauce. A highlight was also the stuffed banana peppers. It’s very cozy inside, our server was delightful, and we would definitely recommend and return.
I was visiting the area and was looking for a place to eat by myself. I was pleasantly surprised by how good this place is. The atmosphere is old school and somewhat threadbare…but the salmon Anthony was perfect — a generous portion of clearly fresh salmon, perfectly cooked, nicely seasoned and served over a bed of gnocchi with spinach and olive oil. And, at $21.00…a veritable bargain in the current economy. Add to that a glass of pinot Grigio that was excellent for...
