The bar service was extreamly slow and slow to get a check when the bar was not busy. The food in the dining area was good but not served very hot. It had been sitting for awhile waiting for someone to bring it out. Service was great from the witress, and we have had her many times in the past.......but she needed help. People need to be added to the staff to fill water glasses, drink reorders, etc., on a timely basis. The valus was good, noise lever was fine as well. Just need to pay mre attention to details on service.

Outstanding food and ambience. Bar area is usually too loud, but the downstairs wine cellar makes for easier conversation. Food is always superb!

My husband had the risotto it was terrible it wasn't risotto it was like rice and had no flavor at all. Had we not been with friends for their anniversary we would have sent it back.

We really enjoyed our experience at Kaufman Tavern! We had the crabcakes as an appetizer, the lobster linguine, and the fillet. In addition, we had a bottle of wine and it was so good. Highly recommend the crabcakes for an appetizer.

We were seated in the rear dining room and it was fine ambience until a group of about 10 came in and was seated behind us. I really think that they should be more mindful of seating couples in a room with a group of 10 as it made it almost impossible for us to hear each other sitting next to each other, so the food was fine, but that kind of damp and a bit of the joy of the evening, I had a salad with steak added and my spouse had the fillet. the meals were good. The meat was well cooked. We had the crispy calamari appetizer. The calamari seemed fresh. It was really crispy. It seemed to be cooked and then tossed and a ma ploy sauce which was fine. There was just too much sauce. I'd consider coming again, but I'm just not sure what they would do about the seating issue

Front the beginning until the end of our time at Kaufmann Tavern the experience was top notch. Our entree picks were salmon, pork chops and steak and every dish was prepared perfectly and presented beautifully. Our dessert choices were chocolate cake, crème brûlée and apple cake, absolute perfection. Our server was very personable and her humor fit perfect with our guests. I highly recommend Kaufmann Tavern to anyone who wants a great meal.

The hazelnut chocolate martini was delicious, the jalapeño hummus appetizer was spicy without melting your tongue. The pork chop with grilled brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes was excellent.
