Have been visiting here since it opened. So far this year since opening the flavor choices have been pretty limited. Seems to be geared more to choices for children Swedish fish, cotton candy, etc type of things. Where is the watermelon, pineapple, peach, raspberry etc. We have found ourselves at other Rita’s as late to find better varieties.
That said the service has always been very good here.
Nice friendly service. We had a Concrete w/ Oreos.
fix your bench. its floating on a 90 degrees angle. 5 stars.
They have some of the newest flavors. The staff is friendly and efficient
If I could leave a 0 out of 5 i would I waited in line for 3 FREE water ices and was told bc my family wasn’t right behind me (in the car bc the building was packed) I could only have one well I won’t be coming back as I gave it to my son but I was treating myself as I cannot eat sugar and waited for it all day absolutely will not recommend this store
My family and I visited the Rita’s in Zieglerville recently before they closed for the season, and we were disappointed.
The portion sizes have shrunk, although the water ice is still good. There are definitely fewer fruit chunks now.
The young kids working behind the counter were goofing off, and one customer forgot to take his change. They joked loudly about it being a large tip for them and to put the money into the tip jar, even though the customer was still just outside the store. Hopefully, when they reopen next season, they'll have more competent staff or at least weed out the kids who just want to mess around.

We were just at Rita's (1 pm). The posted hours are 12-9pm. The store was not open, yet the staff/owner decided to leave the open sign on. Not only did you lose your sale to us (3) but an older gentleman also left. If you had to leave don't leave on your open sign.

If they are open, other Rita's locations all have better hours. I swear they never have cherry. How can you not have cherry? I've started driving further to other locations just cause I can never get cherry. On the corporate website their most popular flavors are mango and cherry. It's become a joke in our family "well I'd get cherry but they won't have it." if it was a more rare flavor, I'd understand. But when it's your second most popular flavor nationally, figure it out. And two times now their vanilla custard was not Rita's vanilla custard. It had a yellowish tint and was icy(like homemade ice cream) instead of the smooth silky custard you get normally. I'm done spending money here, a waste of my time.

Have gone to the shop two separate times and both times the store was closed and there was a “will be back at X time” sign on the door. Incredibly frustrating.

Frozen coffee with Oreo's was ok.
Unfortunately, in my humble opinion, the two young workers there the day we went didn’t have much experience.
But I will go back again to try something else.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. I worked at this location from February of 2020 to October 2020. Tina Slack, the manager, texted me on many, many occasions asking me last minute to cover many of the girls shifts and not one time did I say no. I was beyond reliable making a whopping $7.25 an hour during a time period when quite literally no other places of employment were paying their employees minimum wage anymore. I think Tina’s issue with me boiled down to a time when I didn’t show up for a shift during the month of October, on Halloween, when hardly any customers were coming in the first place. I never received a text message of the schedule, and was not at home when she texted me asking where I was. When I told her I wasn’t home and that I didn’t even receive the schedule, she still asked if I could come in, and I couldn’t, well, because I wasn’t home. Ms. Slack, if that is why you didn’t hire me back for the 2021 season, I have a question for you. Why didn’t you ever call me or text me personally when I never told you that I got the schedule? You always told your employees to text back and say “Got it!” in the group messages when you’d send out the schedules, which I didn’t do because I never received it. Not to mention the countless shifts I worked that were beyond busy and I can’t recall a single time where you, THE MANAGER, showed up to help the two teenage girls that you would schedule. Some days we were so busy that I wouldn’t be able to even use the restroom because there would literally be one other teenage girl there and no other staff. So I guess my question is this: Tina, why did I never get hired back? Sure, I was a 15 year old girl who made mistakes and wasn’t perfect because it was my first year and my first job. But I always showed up and covered every time you needed me. I was a freshmen in high school when I worked here, now I’m about to be a freshmen in college, and to be completely honest, thank God you didn’t hire me back. I found a job that actually respected the time and energy that I put in and payed me way better than you ever did, which allowed me to purchase a car. Because of the amazing job that I’ve had for two years now, I made relationships with my coworkers that will last a lifetime.
They’re clueless on how to make a Concrete. It’s like chocolate milk. I’ve given this place 3 opportunities to get it right. I’ll go to another one in the future. I’m done here.
