Great ice cream choices
Visited here a couple days ago. Waited around an hour for our food before asking for a refund and going elsewhere. Was not told about the long wait for food or else there wouldn’t have been an issue as we would have just went elsewhere in the first place. Machine asking for a tip as well??
Love every visit to Decker's in Brackley! The staff is always pleasant and helpful with helping me select my order and make me feel at home at every visit.

Basic take out window with some indoor seating. There were two people working the counter. For a couple of orders of fish and chips we waited more than 45 minutes. The food itself was fresh and quite good. When we asked what could be done after waiting so long, we were told there was nothing they could do.

Took more than a half hour for a simple burger and fries… there are other places to eat, go there instead…
Excellent selections, great tasting ice cream.

We order four meals. Pulled pork sandwich basket had hardly any pulled pork. Poutine with pulled pork had far more food quantity as did fries with works, but definitely not the pulled pork sandwich basket, nor the hamburger basket.

I had tried this place roughly 15 years ago when I lived in PEI, and remember feeling like it was 'just okay'. I tried it again this past weekend when I was visiting the island and I feel the exact same way. It's 'just okay', and a place to stop if you are really in need of a bite to eat and don't want to drive into Charlottetown.
The pros were that the service staff was fantastic. The place was super busy and they were majorly overworked and were doing the best they could. More front window staff are definitely needed.
The cons are the wait times and food. We waited almost 30 minutes for our food, but we understood because the place was busy like I said. But the food was got was not good. The fries were the most salty fries I've ever had in my life, and I love salt on my fries. I could barely eat them. I would recommend NOT pre-salting the fries in the kitchen. Second, my chicken fingers were definitely overcooked. The oil or grease is definitely too hot in the fryer for those.
I likely would not return based on my recent experience, but hope the place does well in the future as it's a small local business in a great part of the island.

Stopped and got out grandson a burger basket. He was happy with it and it looked like a good burger. Toppings available dropped the star rating. We also had the poutine. Gravy was too thick and had a burnt taste to it, along with fries that were just OK.

Ice cream is delicious and the service is friendly. However, the hot food was not very good. Bland fries and just blah chicken wrap. Wished I’d saved my money
