What a nice Roadside restaurant with friendly staff. I read some poor reviews, but our experience was great. All of our food was tasty and cooked properly. I am gluten-free and ordered the Pad Thai. I ensured the staff of the risks and they definitely made sure all was safe. I enjoyed it all.
Surprisingly great food. Burgers are awesome. Fish and chips were also extremely good. We even chatted with Shirley’s son.

Wow. 7:30 pm and every restaurant close to the national park was closed. Decided to give Shirley’s a try. It was the best lobster roll I’ve had this summer and I’ve had at least 10. Spouse got the burger which was very good as well. Fries piping hot. The little screened porch dining area is eclectic and clean. Other couple got spare ribs and they were pleased with their meal.

Great Chinese food
Really recommend eggs, chicken fried rice and dumplings.
Food was good, especially the Chinese food! The staff was friendly, but service was a little long.

Just got takeout. Combo #3. It was perfect! The rice was authentically amazing, the ginger beef mouth-watering, and the egg roll was a thing of beauty. Fantastic food at a very fair price.

We stop here for a meal each time we go to PEI. What a hidden gem! Doesn't look like much from the road but definitely recommend stopping in. We have only tried the Chinese food so far and it has been excellent every time. It takes a while (seems like they are making it fresh) but you can phone your order in in-advance to speed things up. Some limited seating both indoors and outside.

It took a very long time to get my food, there was quite a lot of people and only one guy in the back cooking and taking orders so I understand why it took a while but to me it seemed a little to long regardless, I think they should have more staff in hindsight.
On another note, staff are doing their best and the place is small and cute. Was quite buggy sitting at the front, definitely better sitting inside what turned into a waiting room.

It does not look like much, nor does the signage tell you what the menu holds. We had the Chinese dinner 1 and 3. Really good rice and ginger beef. Maybe a little too much sauce on the beef for me. The spring rolls and chicken balls are typical ones. A great hidden gem.
