The food was good but the place is STRANGE. It's built into a convention/office/museum space and you have to go in to use their washroom, it's half cluttered antique store and half serve-yourself restaurant (you pour your own water from a watercooler, get your own cutlery and napkins, there's a milk jug at the front for your tea instead of the cups). We also had a hard time ordering.

Really good food and a great atmosphere. Vintage things with some art. You won't regret a trip here for lunch or breakfast.

Drove by and while the storefront wasn’t aesthetically appealing it screamed ma and pa shop, so we gave it a try. The interior was homey, the service was friendly and attentive, but the wait for our items (1 wrap, 1 burger, 1 sandwich) was a bit long (about 15-20 mins.). The Chicken Caesar wrap was tasty and came with a fair amount of chicken breast that wasn’t dry; the pulled pork sandwich was also tasty and had coleslaw sandwiched between two toasted English muffins; the Baba Burger was delicious, it came fully loaded with bacon, melted cheese, aioli sauce, caramelized onions and all the usual burger fixings, the patty was hefty, and the bun was homemade. Overall, the burger was juicy, flavourful and absolutely delicious.

Amazing brunch today! Staff were so busy, but kept smiling and turning out the delicious food. We really liked the self-serve coffee and water as well. Waffles were delicious!
In this morning for brekkie- place was soooo busy ! Staff told us the wait time and we were happy to stay. Service, food and atmosphere were outstanding. My only downside was that I decided I didn’t need a cinnamon bun after my delicious waffles and now I’m regretting it ;)

An exceedingly long wait for food (60 mins+), but a lovely little spot, nice community feel, and delicious food!

What a disaster. You have to order at the counter which is kind of awkward. Food took too long, which would be fine if the old lady at the counter wasn’t so annoyed and cranky about everything. Overpriced. Skimping on everything, like butter and syrup. I’m surprised parking and using the bathroom was free.

Best breakfast sandwich I have had so far on the Island. Worth the drive from Charlottetown. We always go to the handpie company on the way back from breakfast.

Came for the breakfast, came back the next day for the waffles! Seriously, amazing Belgian waffles that the kids (and I) inhaled, best I've had in a long while. It was the only restaurant we went to twice during our stay in PEI. Ample parking, cozy atmosphere, and the owner actually came out to chat with us and even gave us some free waffles to go as we clearly loved them so much. Five stars, highly recommend!

We were looking for a cozy local spot with yummy breakfast and we stumbled along Baba's online. The food, service, and local hospitality surpassed our already high expectations and ended up being one of the most memorable meals of our trip to PEI. We had the hungry man breakfast, eggs benny and waffles, all cooked to perfection. This was easily the best ham and hollandaise sauce I've had and we were also big fans of the potatoes and berry compote on the waffles. Someone even came out to speak to us after our meal and the warm welcoming energy she had just solidified we chose the right place for breakfast. We'll be making Baba's a traditional stop next trip to PEI.
Best eggs Benedict I've ever had! Great folks, incredible food. Well worth a visit!
