The food was good but the place is STRANGE. It's built into a convention/office/museum space and you have to go in to use their washroom, it's half cluttered antique store and half serve-yourself restaurant (you pour your own water from a watercooler, get your own cutlery and napkins, there's a milk jug at the front for your tea instead of the cups). We also had a hard time ordering.
Drove by and while the storefront wasn’t aesthetically appealing it screamed ma and pa shop, so we gave it a try. The interior was homey, the service was friendly and attentive, but the wait for our items (1 wrap, 1 burger, 1 sandwich) was a bit long (about 15-20 mins.). In this morning for brekkie- place was soooo busy ! Staff told us the wait time and we were happy to stay. Service, food and atmosphere were outstanding. My only downside was that I decided I didn’t need a cinnamon bun after my delicious waffles and now I’m regretting it ;)
