This place has amazing burgers and fish & chips! Nice atmosphere and service too. Not a lot of tables during winter when the patio is closed so I’d recommend reservations for busy times/dates.

Kids absolutely loved the steak and frites and cheese melts. My wife and I shared a wholesome split pea soup. Great service. We were lucky to get a place without reservation in March Break. Love the rail way car feel.

Spent a day on the island during our road trip from Toronto to Halifax. The beauty alone of this establishment is incredible, it feels like a premier pub in any metropolitan center like London. The fish and chips were superb, one of the best I've had in Canada. An extra bonus as I was driving was the excellent and tasty selection of mocktails and non-alcoholic drinks options, which were arguably tastier and more fun than their alcoholic counterparts. It's definitely worth the stop, but make a reservation if you can to avoid waitingVegetarian options: A lovely curry burrito was made vegetarian for a friend with the daily soup also being a vegetarian option

Too bad there isn’t more space for competition in the area given the fast increasing population in PEI, this guy will be out of business in no time. It’s pub food though, so it’s just a matter of time…Preferential treatment (seating) provided to friends of the owner arriving without reservation, new wait staff incredibly stupid and incompetent, owner doesn’t care about your business, he has the market for pub dwellers which is relatively new for PEI. Dining is cramped and in some cases shoulder-to-shoulder with strangers. Unpleasant

Wow, wow, wow! Delicious food and top notch service in a beautiful historic setting. This should be on your “must-go” list for great dining spots. The helpful staff accommodated us when they were already fully booked with reservations and were so kind with one of our party who had several food sensitivities. Highly recommend this restaurant!
