My family and I were on a vacation in the summer and stopped here on a whim. It turned out to be a lovely place with extremely friendly staff and delicious food. Excellent views from the patio as well!

The atmosphere wasn’t too bad and neither was the service. However the food was a disappointment. I’m almost 100% sure that the food is microwaved from frozen. I had the steak and mushroom pie and it was definitely not fresh. I could likely find the same pie at Sobeys. The fries were oven cooked from a bag I’m assuming based on the fact that they were still cold on the inside but crispy on the outside. Overall disappointing meal but it was a good environment.

Great place with wharf-side views...the service fantastic....the food?....beef dip? Processed beef with watery thin beef dip...horrible. Husband had seafood chowder and lobster toastie, he LOVED it!

We recently tried this gem for dinner and were pleasantly surprised. We both shared the Maple Burger with fries and the wings. The burger was full of flavour and came with delicious fries. The wings were crispy and not greasy, they were well seasoned. I had a sangria and it was one of the best I have tasted. Great atmosphere overlooking the harbour. We came across this pub while exploring Montague, our first time in PEI. We were there in the middle of June. Super friendly service, excellent fish tacos and chowder! The atmosphere by the marina was very relaxing. Highly recommend this little gem!

I ordered the fish taco and was completely disappointed. There's almost no fish at all and mostly lettuce. I feel like it's wrong to sell a lettuce taco under the pretense of there being fish.

Nice patio on the harbour for a drink, if you’re not in a rush. Extremely slow service. Fairly certain that most of the food served on the menu is frozen.
The patio was about 1/4 occupied when we arrived and we still had to wait a while to get seated. We waited about 15 minutes to get menus, another 15-20 minutes to get our order in, and then about 30+ minutes to get our meals.
When the food arrived, everything was cold and soggy. I think our waiter missed serving our meal, as 2 tables that arrived after us received their meals first. Food was extremely mediocre.
My wife and I came to PEI for vacation and had such a good time! We loved our casual afternoon sitting at the outdoor patio with our two pups, enjoying the great drinks and food. We had the mussels and smash burger and was so fresh and delicious. We highly recommend stopping by here to enjoy the calming Montague River marina view and inviting menu.

if you get the chance come to this small town in PEI there are many towns and villages that you can visit this one is in Montague! It’s a cozy pub facing the Montague river (I think) and a small marina with a some really cool boats. All seats face the water. The service was amazing, my husband had the Smashburger freshly made. I had the mussels yummm and several of their cocktails. it’s a dog friendly patio. We had our two Chihuahuas with us a sidenote I left my wallet on the outdoor table and later on came back to find it everything intact, including all the money. The staff kept it, thankfully. This is a must stop place!
