Got clam chowder It was horrible Went to return it. Didn’t ask for any money or a gift card Just a handshake from the owner is good enough for me. Well I got more than that. The owner called the cops on me for “drinking and driving” What he doesn’t know is I just spent 48 hours and 5000kms driving home to see me children so yes I seemed off because I hadn’t slept in two days to see me kids. I promise I will be back to get my actual refund as my night with my children was ruined by visits from the police. Get to know your customers before making false accusations. Such small minded town, hence why I left for Alberta. God forbid a man pushes himself past his limits to be with the ones he loves . I will be back. Hand shake is now invalid and I will expect my money back in the form of a gift card or cash. Thanks for a ruined holidays . Would leave a zero if possible. I expect my money and a full apology for ruining my night bexuse you have nothing better to do. ALSO. If anyone if on a toxin cleanse or anything Get the clam chowder It’s rotten and tastes worse I can’t believe I let my child try it. I’m sure it’ll clean your systems out. I expect a phone call with an apology tomorrow. You guys are a joke and that’s what ya get for trying to support local. I will be calling any inspection agency I can in morning You ruined my night. I will ruin as many of you guys as possible

Nice stop for coffee and breakfast. A very pleasant woman was working alone as cook and waiter, so it took awhile, but food was very good.

Sign on, door open, people eating, but they shut down 3 hours early without notice

My partner and I were only here for a night stay but during that time this place really left a good impression on us. Clean facilities, plenty to do, most impressive was how friendly and caring the staff were, they went above and beyond what they needed to to ensure we were taken care of. Highly highly recommend.

Great little spot, they accomodated out large party of 9. We sat on the patio for breakfast. Beautiful view, amazing service and delicious food!

We ate here on two separate occasions during our stay with Ocen Acres. We had dinner and they got my order wrong, I ordered a crispy ceaser salad wrap and they put it in as grilled. They told me it would be an additional 15 minutes to remake it so I just took the grilled, there also was barely any dressing on it. They did give me a dessert as an apology but it wasnt the best either. Breakfast the next day was delicious though. Service was friendly but sub par with taking orders etc. And the chairs suck, real back breakers they were that uncomfortable to sit on.

Such a letdown! My little guy was so excited when his dad took him out for supper and chose this place, but unfortunately, the experience was a complete flop from start to finish. They started with mozzarella sticks that were so soggy, it seemed like they were microwaved, definitely not fresh or appetizing. Then came a 55 minute wait for a simple club sandwich and chicken fingers with fries. When the food finally arrived, it was even more disappointing. The chicken fingers were just as soggy as the mozza sticks, the fries were cold, and the club sandwich came with onions after they clearly asked for none. Both meals had to be sent back. To top it off, the place was nearly empty there was only one other table there and yet another couple walked in, waited without even being acknowledged, and eventually gave up and left without ordering. They ended up grabbing food elsewhere on the way home… because this visit was a total miss. Super disappointing for a night out that was supposed to be special for a little one. 😕

They are not open when they say they are. Waste of a journey and no apology.

Found this little gem while we were on vacation in PEI. Lovely clean restaurant on the river among a campground. Delicious food, great wait staff, And a lovely view. The very sweet and friendly dark-haired waitress spent time telling us about the island and where we can go to look for attractions that weren't so touristy. We have been so touched by how friendly everyone is on the island, especially the young adults.
