We were there last month 08/28/2024. I was so looking forward to the fresh PEI mussels. I got them back home and steamed them right away only to notice that some of them were missing half the shells so we had to throw all of them in the garbage. Shame on the person working behind the counter.

Can I just say that I bought three cooked lobsters and ate them at a picnic table on the waterfront behind the store The Doiron Fisheries ?
I was going to go around the island this day. I came here the day before and it was closed, so I took this place as a new starting point and came back from Charlottetown.
The gentleman at the visitor center recommended this place to me after I went to the island.
It was really delicious and made me fall in love with lobster.
While we were enjoying our foods there, a group of tourists waiting to go out for lobster catching appeared around us, which made me feel so embarrassed.
We decided to be the store's publicist, telling every curious tourist that this lobster place is great and you can restock here after you're done catching lobsters.
Haha.

Came here for the first time for 24 oysters and 2 lobsters. The next day we came back for 48 oysters and 4 lobsters and 2lbs of cod and a piece of smoked salmon. The oysters are so good if you are an amateur it is worth the detour. The lobster is excellent, I took 2 to freeze, just like the cod or I will make a fish/chip and for the smoked salmon it was excellent prepared with thinly sliced onion and a little olive oil. WoW we will come back next year especially for their products.

Just bought 3 dozen oysters from there. Very fresh, great size and amazing quality for $1.5ea.

They are happy to pack them on ice for you if you're hitting the road too.

We will definitely drop in again next time we are nearby.

I found this bazaar based on reviews on Google Maps. We bought steamed lobsters, one costing about 15 - 20 CAD. Mussles, which we cooked themselves at home in wine. Everything was delicious!

I liked the history of this establishment: Aiden Doiron started Doiron Fisheries in 1957 when he purchased his first fishing boat, and upon landing one day, a customer asked him for a cooked lobster  He said, “I’ll be right back,” grabbed a burner, a pot, and cooked their lobster to perfection. He still does that today. He has been serving his customers fresh seafood for over 60 years!
We will definitely go shopping again!

Fantastic people, so very helpful. We walked into the market and there were so many choices. We bought Fresh Snow Crab and Lobster and it was so delicious! We wanted to take it and eat at the National Park. We paid only $34.00 US dollars. Highly recommend if you are in Prince Edward Island and want the freshest seafood, this is a great place to stop in.

The BEST fishery in PEI for our family in vacation. The scallops, lobsters, haddock are super fresh ans very cheap. Do not miss this place if you like good seafood!
