Vacationing in Maine, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island and something drew me to this shop. I live in Kentucky, USA and can only dream of your butter tarts for the rest of my life. Too bad you don’t ship internationally.

Olde Village Bakery in North Rustico is a charming little gem. Their pastries — especially the chocolate croissants and cinnamon-sugar donuts — are absolutely worth the stop. The staff are always friendly and make you feel right at home.
Get there early in the morning for the best selection (the favourites sell out fast!), and don’t miss trying one of their fruit pies. It’s the perfect spot to pick up a treat before heading to the beach or exploring the village.

Hands down the best croissants I've ever eaten. Great coffee, fair prices and the bakers in the back have their craft absolutely perfected. Nice view from the deck too if you stick around to eat outside.
