I dined at On the Dock for the first time this week while visiting nearby Cavendish. The service was great and the Lobster Mac n Cheese was fantastic! And I loved the outside seating on the water.

Omg mouth watering. I had the fish tacos with fries. Best tacos I have ever had. Came all the way from Leduc, Alberta and if I ever return I’ll definitely be back to this cute ocean view restaurant. Other family members had the chicken sandwiches and Clam soup. All the food was amazing. 😃 Thank you.

We happened to be there for dinner on Canada day 🇨🇦 And lucky us we had dinner and a show. Samantha our server told us there was a boat parade, she was very fun and personal. She nailed everything and we had a great experience. I had the 🦞 roll ( of course) and it was incredible. I gave it an 8 out of 10. It had a garlic bun !?! The wife had the cod and potato 🥔 cakes. Amazing!!! Ice cream and a few beers as the sun went down was the perfect end to a PEI day

Ok!!! Let me start by saying that we had a mixed group of 15 individuals from Ontario, Montreal, Halifax, Fredericton and NL. There was a mix up in a reservation (we were at wrong restaurant lol) and there was no space inside.
The girls there, manager I believe suggested a small place on their deck where they put up a wall for us to block any wind, which was great and beautiful at the same time having an exceptional view of the water.
Ok, so now 15 people how quickly and good will food be. These waitresses were like nothing we have ever seen, worked together, drinks came fast with smiles. Appetizers came shortly there after and then the mains, near perfect timing. Then the food! No question, best muscles I have ever had in my life and I’ve ate a lot of muscles!! The fish cakes, the lobster Mac and cheese, the salads, unreal!!
I hope whoever owns this place appreciates and realizes the great staff they have, because they were perfect in every way and same for the chefs..
We have all ate in lots of restaurants and this is a must if you’re heading to North Rustico, you won’t be disappointed!!!

10/10, would eat myself into a food coma here again.
Let me set the scene: three smash burgers, two fish & chips, and me—the plant-based oddball—rockin’ the vegan salad bowl like it was my moment on Sesame Street. One of these meals clearly didn’t belong, but surprise! The salad was fresh, loaded, and actually delicious. No sad iceberg or limp cucumbers here, folks.
Now let’s talk about the real star: the raspberry lemonade. Whether you go adult (with booze) or kid-friendly (no judgement… maybe), it’s basically liquid happiness. Order it. Or don’t—and live a life of regret.
The food? Flavourful. The service? Friendly. The views? So pretty it almost distracted me from how fast I was inhaling fries.
Bottom line: if you’re anywhere near North Rustico and don’t stop at On The Dock, I don’t know what you’re doing with your life. Priorities, people. Go. Eat. Sip. Repeat.

A positively lovely little spot for lunch on a coolish day near the end of their season. I had the fish tacos - YUM!!! And Samantha was delightful and helpful. A great find!

Great food at reasonable prices. Super friendly service and nice outdoor seating (even when it is sunny but windy). We had the mussels (with delicious garlic bread) and calamari, which were both excellent.
This place has good prices, the chowder was so delicious, the lobster roll had nothing special. They have blankets in case you are cold and is right near the water. There is no reservation needed

The restaurant has a dog-friendly patio offering breathtaking views of Rustico Harbour. Staff is friendly and efficient. Foot is excellent. We had a dozen scrumptious local oysters, followed by scallops and haddock burgers.

The food was delicious, and it came out of the kitchen quickly. I ordered a whiskey sour and it was well made. The restaurant is right on the water, we had a table with a beautiful view of the water. Our server was very helpful and gladly made some adjustments to the items that we ordered as requested. This is a great place and I do recommend giving it a try. To us it was a wonderful discovery.

Omg! Had fish and chips today. Sooo awesomely delicious. Staff were awesome and very friendly. We don't eat fish too often but this was worth the drive. Their fish and chips are right up there with what we had in Gibraltar a few years ago. You will not be disappointed.
