Minh Wang Family Restaurant

Got beef lowmein and 3 egg rolls. 30 buks. Little pricey. Egg rolls were good but noodles were not very good. Plus I found 3 pieces of something in it that I don't have a clue what it is. Turned me right off. My stomach been angry since I ate a spoonful of.

Arrived at a party reservation for 20 people. There were 12 seats together and 6 across the room from the other 12. We went to move a table closer and the owner came in yelling, screaming and flailing her arms. Instead of having not only a professional conversation, but a mature one she just continued to yell at us. We asked if it would be okay because we had booked for 20 people and she kept screaming that we can’t just do what we’d like and she has other reservations. She did have valid points but the level of unprofessionalism and disrespect towards paying customers was uncalled for. If she approached the situation like any sane minded person should’ve, there would be not bad taste in my mouth or negative thoughts towards her business. If we weren’t there for a family birthday party we would have all walked out. Many people in this party were offended, upset and uncomfortable after the owners actions. I used to talk highly about this spot and was looking forward to bringing family and friends here but I will not be ever again!

Booked a reservation for 20 people and arrive to a table for 12 people so the remaining 8 were shoved in a corner table and when we tried moving the table closer to ours the owner came in yelling waving her arms around saying we can’t move the table without asking even though we originally booked for 20 definitely will not be back food was good but the owner is a complete tool she should really appreciate the customers she has left consider this isn’t the first time I’ve heard or seen her act like this

The food was very fresh and delivered to the table hot. We enjoyed each and every dish. As usual we ordered way more food than the two of us could eat but the take out containers allowed us to bring home the yummy left overs. We will definitely be back!

So disappointed in our supper. Cantonese Chow Mein was good but their Special Dinner for 2 and egg rolls were terrible. They didn’t put the sauce on the side for the sweet and sour chicken (chicken balls) so they were soggy. Ribs were tough and dry and the 5 egg rolls were over cooked. Horrible food?

The very ignorant and entitled woman who owns it, shouldn't own a business. Nothing but bad experiences here, I tell every person I come in contact with to avoid this place at all costs. It's an awful establishment, she doesn't care about her customers, and doesn't deserve people's hard earned money.

My husband and I ordered a dinner for 2, which included sweet and sour chicken (chicken balls). My husband took a bite of one of the chicken balls and inside was shrimp instead of chicken. This wouldn't have been a big deal, except for the fact that my husband is deathly allergic to shrimp. When I called to notify the manager, she was very rude on the phone. Telling me just to not eat the shrimp, it's no big deal. When I tried explaining to her that it was a big deal due to my husband's allergy, she rudely said they didn't know he was allergic to shrimp. I didn't feel the need to express his allergy as we were not ordering seafood of any kind. I understand mistakes happen but her attitude was totally uncalled for!

Used to order here often but over the last few months the quality of the food has gone way down, not only the food but the accuracy of the orders. I guess there is a reason why they are never busy anymore.

Not a good restaurant at all. The owner is very rude and won't talk nicely even if you are trying to place an order. Will not come back to this place ever.

We have come here for years every time we're in town. Actually, the first time we by luck in our way to see a church in Tignish and now we go out of the way to come here.Everything here is great and can be as authentic as you want it to be.These guys should be in Toronto - we love their food.

Recommended dishes: Ginger Chicken

The restaurant is very clean and the service was great. They have the best chicken balls, the portion of chicken and batter were perfect! I also love their egg rolls, Singapore noodle and honey spareribs, must try! The Singapore noodle is so flavourful, better than most of the Chinese restaurants. I definitely will come back and recommend to our friends.
