So happy to learn that 21 Breakwater was staying open into the off season. We were 4. We shared the baked brie app, followed by entree specials, and when we heard the desserts for the evening, we made sure to save room. We made reservations, everything was fabulous! Make the trip to Souris, you won't be disappointed.

We were here three years ago, and had to return for another dose of the Portuguese fish n chips. ☺ Delicious as before. My wife also enjoyed the grilled chicken burger. Excellent service and a great view of the Souris Harbor.
It was a little on the cool side when we arrived just after noon, wish they had turned up the heat a little.

21 Breakwater and Second Side Bar are lovely. We went for 1-2 drinks while visiting PEI and loved the ambience, the music and the welcome from Kelly so much that we decided to return a second time. Cosy and well-run, you won't regret coming here.

I stopped in around 1:30pm on a Thursday. It was not busy at all, and a gorgeous day. There are many tables inside, but also some on the covered porch, and picnic tables in the yard. From the front of the house, you have great views of Souris Harbour.
I got one of their specials, grilled salmon with fries and a side salad. When I tell you that was my favorite meal so far on the island, I'm being honest. All of the flavors were perfect! The salad had just the right amount of dressing so not to overwhelm or get soggy.
If you're in the area, or even if you're not, I highly recommend stopping by. My waitress said they're hoping to stay open until Christmas.

Very good restaurant in Souris! We didnt have a reservation and they managed to find us a place. The location is great and the food is really good for the price. If ever in Souris again, I'll be back for sure!
Best food I've had on the island so far. Every bite was excellent. I got the scallops on toast, but even the fries and side salad tasted great. Also tried the crab dip, it was creamy and delicious.
