What a nice Roadside restaurant with friendly staff. I read some poor reviews, but our experience was great. All of our food was tasty and cooked properly. I am gluten-free and ordered the Pad Thai. I ensured the staff of the risks and they definitely made sure all was safe. I enjoyed it all.

Food is decent, as I've eaten here on multiple occasions but the fact they do not accept anything but cash in 2025 is kind of a red flag for me.
I like the clam strips, and everything else is pretty standard takeout fair. As I said the food is decent but won't knock your socks off.

We are in the camping park that is close to Souris ,, we went down by the yachts can fishing boats and stumbled across Shirley's place... I decided to get the double cheeseburger with bacon onion lettuce tomato ketchup mustard relish and crinkle cut french fries...coleslaw. Back home we call this the King Burger in my home town in Ontario... Fresh hamburger cooked excellent and tasted fantastic

I love Shirley’s. I loved it my whole life. Whenever I return I go here almost everyday. The clam strips, scallops, and ice cream is top notch. I am home now and Shirley’s is all I can think about. I miss you!

I had their very first hard & soft ice cream combo! Orange Pineapple with Vanilla soft serve. 🍦 DELICIOUS! 🏝️ Absolutely fantastic ice cream! Scallop burger, poutine and a side of fish 🎣 Highly recommend.

Im longhaul driver and its the best icecream I had since a while OMG !!!!!!!! Its fries shack from the ferry is 2 minutes walk :) keep this place open please !!!!!!!!

it was pretty bad, we had chicken fingers and fish & chips. fish was frozen and was 2/3 batter, greasy deep fried. my friend got the chicken strips and he was also not impressed. ate there 15 years ago, my dad didnt like it but i was too young to care. old man was right. prices were pretty high for that level of food too. wont be back wish you the best

Fish from McCain?! No way it's hand battered. The batter was dense not light and fluffy not to mention it was way over cooked. I get a hundred times better fish and chips in Toronto, never mind the east coast! AVOID the fish and chips like the plague.
