“My wife and I dropped in for Bar Steak today. Darlene was our server. The steaks were cooked to perfection as were the onions and mushrooms. It wasn’t too busy but the poor air conditioner wasn’t keeping up. Darlene still had a big smile on her face while she waited out table. The meal, perfect, the service, perfect. The price? Not as much as you’d think. Well worth 5 *****.“

“This was one of our all time fav places. Great food, exactly what we thought we should get plus. Our server Emma was exceptional. Emma & other staff members were great helping us with an inquiry into their merchandise. Again they went beyond what they needed to do to help us. It was a pleasure chatting with Emma when she had a minute. The atmosphere is just what we expected and it was also perfect. Okay but the desserts. So damn good, I wanted to lick the bowl. “Had a fantastic experience at Hunter’s Ale House last night! It was my first visit, but I can't wait to come back. My waitress was incredibly attentive and sweet, checking in frequently to ensure everything was to my liking. The manager (possibly the owner?) also went above and beyond, stopping by the table multiple times to chat and show excellent customer care. The smash burger was absolutely delicious - a standout dish that sealed the deal. I will definitely be back!“

“This place is a lot of fun if you enjoy bowling. Nice atmosphere, food at the lanes. Unfortunately their cocktails are not very good, so stick to beer, wine, and coolers. The food is sub-par, except for their deep-fried dill pickles, which are awesome. Go for the fun and appetizers, not for a meal.“

“Dropped in while touring Charlettown – we got right in and sat at the perfect table, it was inside but with the windows/doors open, it felt like you were outside but temp was it was much cooler. Service was quite spotty – it took a long time to get water and drink orders but eventually someone showed up. It didn’t even seem that busy, there were plenty of staff hovering around the back bar. I ordered the BBQ Burger with a Caesar salad– wife ordered the salmon and easy kid order a cheese burger with fries and difficult kid order the nachos. BBQ Burger was delicious, and the cesar salad was exceptionally delicious, I wasn’t expecting that different taste, next time I would order the big salad as a meal. BBQ Burger, no complaints, it was tasty – easy kid gave the burger a 9.7 and picky kid gave the nachos a 6.7 because there wasn’t enough cheese, yet she did eat the whole plate. Wife said the salmon was cooked to perfection but there were no herbs – there didn’t seem to be a lot of vegetables. There was rhubarb as a vegetable along with small chunks of carrot. The rice was crunchy but it was good. Seems like a great spot – according to other reviews, might have been an off day with service but it does seem to happen randomly.“
