I came from Toronto and was surprised to see so many asian restaurants in the block in summerside. So far this is far the best one.

I came to this restaurant twice. Each time, the quality of the foods were top notched.
I could tell from deep fried vegetables that oil that was used was new and they cooked it just before serving.

I was also amazed at the cut of the sashimi and the freshness of the meat.

Atmosphere and plating is done superb. Not only that the price is very friendly. 👍

Would not recommend.

Just ate here for lunch, ordered some gyoza and a spicy combo, which comes with miso.

Miso was underwhelming - tasted freezer burnt. Rolls would have been decent (albeit drenched in a too-thick sauce) had I not found a hair in one of them.

Server did not check on me once, and when I brought it to her attention and gave her the food back, she silently went to the cook for a moment before bringing me the bill at the counter - unaltered - and didn't say a word.

Looking into the kitchen, none of the staff were wearing hairnets.

The menu had green painters tape all over it with updated prices, and a notice at the back saying they didn't have a liquor license anymore.

I will say the booths are nice, so I'll give them a star for that I guess.

Arigato is always my family's favourite spot. We love sushi and bento there. But I will never come back as we are arranged seated 1 hour 15 mins before closing hour. We are asked to leave after food ordering because kitchen is full and cannot accept anymore.

Never come across be asked to leave a restaurant after sit down for more than 10 mins. service staff explained that she mis understand and there are many take out orders.

They better to change to a take out only restaurant because last time I was also refused when we arrive at around 1 hour before closing.

The food was excellent, and the service was good; it would just be nice if the server were a bit more personable.

Stumbled into this restaurant after a nine hour drive. What a stroke of luck! Reasonably priced and delicious. Service was friendly and prompt. Nice wooden booths elevate this above the typical storefront sushi. They alsonhavr a fes Korean items on the menu. Well worth a visit!

Update your closing hours correctly. It's unwelcoming to refuse people when it's one hour before your closing hours 🤬

We were on the island a few days and came here twice. The sushi was delicious, fresh and portions were good. Much better than we get in NS. First night service was fast, second night a fair bit slower, however, there was a group that ordered a fair bit of food, so I'm sure that was the slow down. They are a bit heavy handed when it comes to sauces on some rolls, I like to taste the roll, not just the sauce. But even still it was great. My kiddo insisted we go back the second night because she liked it so much. Next time we are back on the island we will visit for sure!

The food was very poor. The tea, miso soup, tempora, and the rolls we had were all very poor. I do not recommend it. Service and atmosphere were good.

Great sushi! Love going here.

Wish they would modify their hours though, especially for the summer. Being closed on Sunday AND Monday is a huge bummer.

Caroline and I reserved a table for four today, and had lunch there today with our friends. She chose the Bento Box E and I had the Korean beef bulgogi, with Crunchy California rolls on the side. Caroline enjoyed her Bento box, as did I the bulgogi. The Korean beef bulgogi had quite a bit of cabbage cooked into it, but was otherwise fantastic. I love bulgogi and even have a wee recipe for it I use at home. I’d rate theirs as 4/5. The crunchy rolls were great, and I shared a few, and ate more than a few. It was too much as a side for lunch to be honest. The wasabi is not hot at all, so each roll got a pea sized ball of wasabi, a slice of pickled ginger and some soy sauce. Caroline enjoyed the sashimi, the added lemon slice was a nice touch, and the miso soup. The price is a bit higher per person, but the ambience, the service and the quality of the food are worth it IMHO.
