Could be a lovely spot. It's right on the water's edge, and the view is lovely, but everything else leaves something to be desired. After being pushed by the server to "just choose something to drink," my fiance ordered the spinach dip, with the seafood Linguine, and a flight of beers to drink since he wanted to try them all. I had the chowder, with the Lobster roll, and asked for them to be gluten free. Our apps came out pretty quickly, but my chowder had 2 Baguette slices on the side of it. We called the server back and asked if they were GF, and she said said no, as if it was a stupid question. My fiance took the bread from my bowl, and we ate. Luckily, I am not that sensitive and cross contamination doesn't usually make me sick. The apps were fairly good, but didn't seem to be very fresh. Our mains came before we were even halfway through the apps. My Lobster roll came on 2 GF slices of bread, with a leaf of Lettuce and a fair helping of Lobster filling. My fiancé's Linguine had a thick tomato sauce that wasn't warmed all the way through, and several cold peices of fish, scallops, and mussles. We tried our mains, and I found mine to be truly tastless, and my fiancé said only his noodles were warm. I had to add more mayo to my roll because it was incredibly dry, and my fiancé couldn't even finish his meal, saying that it tasted like it was made yesterday. Our sever stood at the front of the room, on her phone, and we had to go get her any time we needed anything. When it was time to pay, she had her back to us, scrolling on her phone, talking to one of her co workers. The co worker finally pointed out that we were there, and our server brought over our bill.

Dietary restrictions: The menu did say they could make items Gluten Free, however, my "gluten free" chowder came with 2 Baguette slices on the side, and the server didn't seem to find anything wrong with that. If you are sensitive to cross contamination, I wouldn't risk eating here.

Walked in to be seated. The sign said to wait to be seated. The female and male talking when I walked in, left without saying a word to me after 2 minutes. 3 minutes later the female returned and acknowledged me. I asked to sit outside and she replied that she would get a waitress. When she returned, she handed me a menu and said the side wherever I wanted. Outside there were 2 tables of guests. They received their food and were followed up with. I sat there waiting. I waited to be acknowledged for 15 minutes. Then I walked out. The view and weather were great.

Went there on a Thursday evening.

The sunset pouring in through the windows nicely complimented the very charming seaside/"rustic" interior.

I ordered the lobster poutine and although the hollandaise sauce's flavour profile wasn't really my liking, that is perhaps more indicative of my personal preferences in poutine, and not a reflection on the attentiveness of the cooks in the kitchen, so I can't knock too many points there, if at all. Overall, the poutine wasn't particularly mind-blowing, but definitely far from a bad dish.

The service from our server, however, is what earns this restaurant its high rating. Our table was being served by Kyle W, and his service was nothing short of welcoming and genuine. Kyle clearly demonstrated his competence as a server, and not by presenting an overly-bubbly and facade as one could reasonably expect from a server, but rather by being a chill, laid-back, who seemed to actually enjoy his job. It didn’t feel like we were being served by someone putting on a show, but just an actual dude having a chill conversation. He gave great recommendations and made sure everything was taken care of. Definitely seems like the type of chiller you could grab a beer with. If you're looking for solid service without any of the forced enthusiasm, Kyle W is your guy.

Ate there around 5 on a Sunday. No wait for a table and had a lovely water view. I ordered the bubbling lobster. It was a pasta dish that had lobster, scallops, shrimp, and fish in a cheese sauce. There was little pasta so you had plenty of seafood. My partner ordered the lemon pepper haddock with fries and slaw which he said was good. I had a glass of wine and he had a draft beer. Total with taxes and tip was just under $90 which I considered very reasonable. Our only complaint was from a noisy table nearby which was not under the control of the restaurant so can’t mark them down for that.

First off, Hard to find this restaurant if not a local..
Waited 20 minutes for a table when the restaurant was maybe half full, Ordered the muscles and steak. The muscles were cold and half the shells were empty, couldn’t even complain due to a waitress not returning, a bus boy brought out our steaks, asked the bus boy if he could bring my partner another drink and some ketchup for our meal and was told a waitress will return to assist us. A waitress never returned, we had to wave someone down but was never brought any ketchup or beverages.. After eating our overcooked steaks and soggy fries we waited for any kind of waitstaff to ask for the bill, but they seemed too busy talking to another table for an obscene amount of time.. finally we waved down a waitress for our bill, i informed the waitress of our dissatisfaction only to be told “sorry” and then handed the debit machine for a $100.00 bill. It does have a nice view by the window but that’s the only good thing you can say about this establishment.. I will not be returning or ever suggest this to any peers.

horrible experience, was sat at the bar while we waited for the kitchen to be ready for us ? the place was half empty. Service was not good at all, waited 15 minutes to ordered another drink and condiments and neither one of those things came. The waitress never came back to check on us. Steak was way over done and barely warm and all they said was sorry. would not recommend this place at all.

BRUTAL
Drinks were watered down. Bun on the steak sandwich was freezer burnt, pasta had no flavour. And the restaurant did nothing about anything. Very disappointing.
