Holman's Ice Cream Parlour

The selection of ice cream was very good, but all the ice cream was too sweet for us.

Holman’s Ice Cream. Simply the best here in Eastern Canada. We’ve been twice, last time was last summer, east to find, parked on the street, and proceeded in. The parlour is located in a older beautifully restored home, and great grounds to sit out with your tasty treats. The ice creams are hand made and it shows. I’ve been lucky to have travelled around the world in the Navy for 37 years, and being a fan of ice creams and gelatos, I never hesitated in trying what was out there. Cortona Italy by far had the best Chocolate ice cream I have ever had, rich, awesome mouth feel, just phenomenal. Holman’s is there. The Mexican Chocolate, holy cow, rich, just gotta try it. It’s not underwhelming, it’s a perfect example of how to make it right. My family tried others, equally as titillating, but the chocolate is king. Awesome menu, friendly folks, just a cornucopia of awesomeness. Well done Holman’s.

Went for a meetup date with a woman i was girst meeting. Was very busy there saturday 8 pm! But the icecream was very good also service! Being able to sit outside and enjoy a quiet place to chat was a bonus! Kudos to your business!

Fresh ice cream, made from local products! It was amazing.

We were in Summerside as part of our east coast road trip(from ON) and we were told we needed to try Holman's ice-cream. After watching the sunset down at the warf, we decided to stop in and we were blown away with how amazing the ice-cream was! We had the Cookies & Cream, Rhubarb Cheesecake and the Butter Cake and they were all phenomenal. 100% the best ice-cream I've had.

The building the ice-cream shop operates out of is stunning. The gardens and areas for sitting are just perfect. The staff were busy but friendly.

I see some reviewers complaing about the price which is unfortunate. Clearly these folks aren't taking into consideration this is small batch made ice-cream with quality ingredients. We paid $7 for a generous 2 scoop serving, that's very reasonable considering we paid $7.25 for the same sized serving from the big named PEI company and the quality of that ice-cream is good but not anywhere near the quality of Holmans.

Will definitely visit again next time I get to visit Summerside!

OMG this beats COWS! Best ice cream in PEI ! The waffle cone melted in my mouth

I’m very picky with my sugary sweets and this is by far the best ice cream I’ve ever had by a landslide. I’d drive from Bedford NS to Summerside PEI on a nice summers day just to get a cone and the customer service is excellent

The best ice cream ever! The historic home the shop is in is so beautiful! The flavour selection is awesome, I had the PEI Blueberry ice cream and my partner had Pumpkin Pie ice cream and they were both incredible; extremely creamy and intensely flavourful. The garden outside to sit in is also lovely. Incredible experience!

The only issue is that there were so many flavors of icecream to choose from! I picked chocolate brownie and it was delicious.

Great service even at 8:40,pm. Apple pie ice cream great, my friend's coconut even better.

Took a little day trip to Summerside to finally try Holman’s and was very impressed! “The Sampler” is a great way to try multiple flavours since they have so many on rotation, and all of them sound delicious. Key Lime Pie was our favourite, but all of them were stellar. A great local option if you’re wanting something a little more special than a dairy bar.

Fantastic hand made ice cream

Best place for hard ice cream on PEI. New flavours every day and everything is made in house including the sauces and waffle cones! Amazing, friendly owners!
