Hoss's Fish 'n' Chips

We were passing through the Summerside area around lunch time and came upon Hoss's. The friendly lady at the till assured us that the Seafood Platter, which we decided to get, is enough for 2. And boy was she right! The plate was absolutely huge! There were 2 large pieces of haddock, shrimps, bacon wrapped scallops, clam strips, and lots of fries. The fish was moist and tender in a crispy batter. The shrimp and scallops were tasty and crunchy. The fries were amazing and everything was piping hot. Definitely worth the price paid. Wish we could try other items on their menu. BTW the place is take-away only.

We come here every trip to PEI. Huge variety of memu items, all of the food we have ordered has been amazing and the staff are wonderful.

Stopped today for a burger as I looked them up online before and pictures looked great. Was really surprised at how good it was. Reasonably priced, big tasty burgers. Really friendly staff, the woman in the kitchen and the young guy working out front were top shelf! Will return when ever I'm in Summerside and feeling like a burger. To those who complain in the reviews you should look at what it cost and complain accordingly. I had low to medium expectations based on the price but was pleasantly surprised.

We are from Ontario and Hoss’s was recommended to us from a nice gentleman we met in a Timmies parking lot! Shout out to that guy and Hoss’s! This place did not disappoint!!!!
Staff was friendly and the food was phenomenal. So fresh and delicious! Huge fish sandwiches! Fantastic lobster roll, and fried scallops were perfect! If I could give this place 10 stars I would!

Take out 1 piece fish and chips , I asked everything in the bag , i got a nod yes . Went to the park to eat , no salt ,pepper , lemon wedge , 1 pkg of lemon juice wierd , 1 tarter sauce in a ketchup style package not good ,no ketchup or fork , nothing to eat coleslaw with, no gravy . I remember this place was awesome. Not anymore . The service sucks walked in no hello not one word was spoken other than how much it was . Picked up order at 6:55pm called at 7:05 pm closed and no answer . Will I be back absolutely not .

Excellent Fish 'n' Chips! Huge portion of fries and very good fish!! There were 4 of us on 2x 4 pieces of Fish 'n' Chips and we couldn't finish the dishes!

My mother who has had a lot of fish and chips in her life said that it was the worst fish she had ever eaten, overcooked and gray. I ordered the fried bar clams which were also overcooked and not bar clams (they were soft shell clams). Not an enjoyable meal .
