Hoss's Fish 'n' Chips

ouf that was so friggen good. best burgers on the island!! customer service was lovely. Just the best.

Take out 1 piece fish and chips , I asked everything in the bag , i got a nod yes . Went to the park to eat , no salt ,pepper , lemon wedge , 1 pkg of lemon juice wierd , 1 tarter sauce in a ketchup style package not good ,no ketchup or fork , nothing to eat coleslaw with, no gravy . I remember this place was awesome. Not anymore . The service sucks walked in no hello not one word was spoken other than how much it was . Picked up order at 6:55pm called at 7:05 pm closed and no answer . Will I be back absolutely not .

Excellent Fish 'n' Chips! Huge portion of fries and very good fish!! There were 4 of us on 2x 4 pieces of Fish 'n' Chips and we couldn't finish the dishes!

My mother who has had a lot of fish and chips in her life said that it was the worst fish she had ever eaten, overcooked and gray. I ordered the fried bar clams which were also overcooked and not bar clams (they were soft shell clams). Not an enjoyable meal .

Had 2pc fish and chips, massive portion of each. However the downside was that the fish and the fries were both burnt. Only one small pack of tartar sauce. Personally I wouldn’t eat here again, not when there are better fish n chips places nearby

This was our first time at Hoss’s FnC and it certainly won’t be our last!My partner got the Fish Burger with no cheese or lettuce, and an addition of coleslaw to the burger - he had a side of fries as well. He says it’s by far the best messy fish sandwich (that’s what we call ‘em) he’s ever had! His only critique was the french fries, as he said they were a little underdone for his liking. I’m in slight agreement as I had mine cooked well done, and they were cooked to what I would consider the 'normal' crisp.I got the pan fried haddock, which was pretty good, but my only issue with it was that the mixed vegetables, which I can only assume were frozen or canned, were thrown on the bottom and made everything rather soggy. In the future, I’d recommend serving the side veg in one of the 4oz containers you put the gravies and tartar sauce in!Overall, everything was very good and we will definitely be returning the next time we’re in Summerside.

Family-run by a friendly family. Best fried food on the Island. Best burgers on the Island. Massive portions for a low price. I am a regular of this restaurant. No seating though.If I didn't click recommend on an item it means I didn't try it yet. Everything I've eaten here was epic.

This was my 1st time eating at Hoss's since they were on notre dame st. and it is as good, if not better than I remember. I had the 1 pc. fish and chips, it was huge and delicious. Very friendly and fast i highly recommend it.

We had a 4 pieces fish & seafood chowder today from Hoss’s take out restaurant.The fish was tasty ? ,well breaded and fried. The fries ? were good local fresh cut too.*Please show your customers how big the portion is and show them the boxes & containers you are using to pack the food.*Tell your customers how many free condiments comes with order so that you save them time & you make more money ? out of them ?(happen to us today, we run out of our condiments and went back 4 gravy & tartar.

The fish has changed very small flat piece with alot of black in it. What's going on with the fish. I probably will not be back, very disappointed.
